You will never see Obama and Michelle do this and be received so well by our courageous men and women of our Armed Forces. Images from Dallas - Ft Worth Airport
George Bush has a history of showing up at hospitals and airports for the U.S. Military since he has left office. He often tries to do it under cover so it does not get out. It's not about the media bump for him.
I don't know. They seem pretty well received to me. http://photoblog.msnbc.msn.com/_new...t-the-troops-at-marine-corps-base-hawaii?lite I would venture to say most people, military or not, would happily take the opportunity to meet the president and the first lady and do so graciously.
I just noticed, even Mr and Mrs Bush had to stand behind those silly crowd control straps.......too funny I wonder if he had to go through a naked scanner
One would hope that the American people would follow Dubyah's example and show their appreciation to our troops. If you can't do so in person, there's a lot of fine organizations serving our vets and their families that could use your support. Be there!
Its simply the difference between fake love for the military and true love. Ever seen Clinton or Carter doing this? Of course not and Obama won't be doing it either unless he has a political agenda. Clinton was too busy committing treason selling missile tech to China for campaign contributions
