Comment: for some of you this is old news, but its good to review. Also a troop talks about what happened during Katrina ,was told to fire on Americans who would not give up guns. Also talks about how the local police were raping women.

Well then they are disarmed like the UN and our State department wants. Which makes it easier for there take over of the US

It will take 2/3rd vote by congress to accept those terms, unless Obama uses his executive privilege again.

Well its already happened, if you listen to the trooper. And DHS just bought 450 hollow point rounds, and moblie bullet proof check points, and the government is saying "constitutionalists, people who dislike the UN, returning vets etc...are terrorist suspects.

Why is it so hard to believe that the federal government will ban guns in the future? If Americans don't turn in their guns, what happens? The police come for them (or YOU). And what happens if you try to defend yourself? The police will kill you.

So it's not the troops that will kill you. It's the state, if it decides that guns should be illegal.

 

And with zero evidence of anything like this happening, this gets filed under paranoid speculation...

 

Well the Trooper who called in to talk about what he was ordered to do, said he was military. And today military is working with police, even though they aren't suppose to....also the military is active in train to take our guns....with foreign troops too.

That State Department document is about standing military forces. It says bugger-all about privately owned weapons.

The dumb SOB reading it did not even pick up the part about nations being allowed to retain such weap[ons as legitimately useful for internal security and the ability to resist foreign invasion.

The guy in the video did not strike me as believable. "This is gonna get scary," is one of those things people say when they're trying to sell you on something.

I collect conspiracy theory videos. I'm a big fan, actually. Some of them are pretty hilarious. But I see no evidence of factual content.

Most people in the military and/or law enforcement are members of the NRA. If they intend on a gun grab of any kind they sure as hell better wait until a time when the NRA members only represent single digit percentages, otherwise the sleeping giant will go ballistic. Besides they do not have enough troops to hit every city in the country simultaneously. One city gets hit and the rest will be waiting for them to arrive. It won't be pretty.

In any case, the gun crowd is much more willing to die for their beliefs than the gun grabbers are for theirs.

While I have no guns of any type, so i could care less what they do, the government is not going to ban all arms; handguns? maybe, but certainly not rifles, shotguns or musketry and furthermore, how is the government going to know if you have any rifles, shotguns or musketry? Your not normally required to register them. So how would they know? Most people probably won't volunteer any information anyhow.

Everytime a democrat gets into office the gun owners get paranoid; when Clinton was elected they were all screaming that he'd take away all guns and guess what, nobody lost their rifles or handguns, etc...I think its much to do about nothing to be honest.

Wouldn't a lot of the troops that they send in to grab the guns be likely to switch sides?

It's just not practical for a ton of reasons.
