yes..I'm obsessed with zimmerman. /sarcasm Everyone here knows exactly what I mean and why I said it...we've all watched you derail threads for months now... That little jab at you hit home, didn't it? LMAO...you ARE funny, though.
A guy kills the boss who fired him. People are getting more and more desperate. Look for more of this type thing if Obama is re-elected and we're sentenced to four more years of hard times. Tragedy. May those who died rest in peace.
Well He was not an Islamo loser, I guess that makes him a run of the mill loser. Proably an O'Bama voter. Which is good, one less vote for him.
Nope, the queen has no powers outside of the ceremonial duties she performs. Great Britain is a constitutional monarchy, which means that she 'rules' by popular consent. We, the people, allow her to. She has no powers to raise an army.
Not according to your military's oath of enlistment: That has them swearing their allegiance to the queen. It would be a breach of honor for them to disobey anything that she told them to do.
It is possible, and they do hand out a number of permits every year - which is why their restrictions have stood up while Chicago and DC's laws have been overturned by the Supreme Court. Getting a permit in NYC takes a lot of time, personal interviews, paperwork, background checks and a justification for why you need the weapon. That is for a simple residence permit. To carry in public, you have to prove that you have a job that is so dangerous that you need a gun to protect yourself, or that by its nature it requires a weapon - security/bodyguards, valuable property couriers, certain banking jobs, even certain businessmen are able to get such permits. But, because of the difficulty and expense, as well as the large number of denied applications, there are still very few people who can legally carry in the city.
Show some evidence of that claim. The stats on people in prison for shootings shows the opposite - most people who commit crimes that involve guns obtained those weapons illegally.
Just in is that all the wounded citizens were capped-off by the cops ... http://video.msnbc.msn.com/nightly-news/48784504/?__utma=14933801.556492783.1344886913.1345850020.1345853262.71&__utmb=14933801.2.10.1345853262&__utmc=14933801&__utmx=-&__utmz=14933801.1345850020.70.10.utmcsr=firstread.nbcnews.com|utmccn=(referral)|utmcmd=referral|utmcct=/_news/2012/08/24/13458214-romney-in-michigan-no-one-has-ever-asked-to-see-my-birth-certificate&__utmv=14933801.|8=Earned%20By=msnbc%7Ccover=1^12=Landing%20Content=Mixed=1^13=Landing%20Hostname=www.nbcnews.com=1^30=Visit%20Type%20to%20Content=Earned%20to%20Mixed=1&__utmk=177254949#48784504
THIS JUST IN! We all have internet and can see these things as they happen.Thanks. MORE INFORMATION WILL BE RELEASED WHEN IT BECOMES AVAILABLE!
link to what, I am talking about this incident, the topic of this thread... who shot the most civilians in this incident? those legally carrying? now imagine if civilians also had guns and were shooting .
Well if we're "imagining" things, let's imagine superman flies in at the last second and stops the bullets and Spiderman casts his web around the bad guys and everyone gets free balloons and unicorn rides and lives happily ever after . "imagine"..LMAO...
So you really mean that more people were injured by the POLICE that we are supposed to trust to protect us when we give up our gun rights than by the criminal involved. I see that not one legally carrying civilian injured anyone in this incident. The criminal killed one man and the Police injured several others. Perhaps we should stop trying to take guns from the citizens and take them from the cops instead. . .
Actually, now that I think about it, your statement actually does fit with my train of statements, but it needs rephrasing: "The police wounded several people while not one law-abiding citizen hurt anyone in this incident - therefore we should make it illegal for citizens to own or carry guns so only cops will have them. . ."
no, I do not support giving up our gun rights, in fact I think everyone should be able to protect their homes and family, even ex-felons, it's their constitutional right, I just don't want everyone packing as I think many people with guns would panic and do more harm then good, if cops injure innocent people in a gun fight, imagine a bunch of civilians in a gun fight .
This incident doesn't provide good support for that idea. There is no evidence that more or fewer people would have been hurt if citizens were carrying weapons. In fact, it is equally likely that no one would have been harmed if several citizens were carrying weapons. You are simply making a wild guess based only on your opinion.
I noticed New Yorkers ran like hell. Do they know how badly trained their police are? The running seems to suggest they do.
