Yet Harry Reid still continues to be an active member of the mormon church! Go ahead and delete this pointless thread when you are ready.
Their religion, their business. You should see what happens to women and blacks who dare to leave the liberal plantation. By the way, when will the cops be coming to arrest me?
Sorry I thought it said "morons", which seemed odd, because the morons are indeed not criticizing Romney.
Mormons another religious group not big on the idea of free speech apparently. Mitt seems like decent guy even if I think he will and should lose. He should speak out against what some people in his church are doing here though.
Also, and more importantly to the OP, Harry Reid has not been excommunicated for baselessly criticizing Romney. This thread is, therefore, stupid.
I don't care if he wants to be Mormon. Paganism is just a religion like any others and evangelicals need to get over thinking they will always have a christian in the White House. I would be a hypocrite as a libertarian if I said otherwise. Whatever my own heebie jeebies would be to having a non-Christian must be tempered by our secular premise.
You can take some comfort in the fact that the actual name of the mormon church is "The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints."
Neh, I used to date a Mormon and have the skinny. It was like having an affair with a married man...the secrets. I learned that it's a pantheon and incompatible with Catholicsm, but...that's okay. I'm not a "convert or die" person. You want to be a pagan...be a pagan. Real American is a pagan and he and I are chums. I would vote for him if he would drop the "socialism" part of his profile.
I wouldn't mind a Jew in the White House, especially if it's Michael Savage, Mark Levin, Dr. Laura, or Ben Stein. I might even find Joe Lieberman palatable.
If they have a voting record that is consistent (and I support it), if it is limited government...I don't care if they are a pagan. Believing in a pantheon is not what makes me not want to vote Romney. It's his religion...doesn't have to be mine.
I'll be honest. I don't trust anyone who doesn't believe in God. Those who don't believe they will one day answer to the Almighty for their actions are, in my view, capable of anything. Atheists killed more people in the 20th century than all other religions combined throughout human history. Don't trust them.
Okay, what about Brewskier (yeh, yeh, dude, I'm picking on you)? I bring him up because despite our ideological differences I like him thoroughly and to the bone. He's an agnostic and a conservative. Are you saying you have the choice between Obama (pretend he's a Muslim) and Brewskier who answers to no god and you'll pick Obama? Come on, now. American Republican are Republicans first and then whatever their religious beliefs are later.
Agnostics and atheists are two totally different animals. It has to do with humility, one has it, the other doesn't. You should know this.
