What makes you think Christie is "my own?"

Libs have to follow Der Black Fuhrer just because he is their Dear Leader.

You can find them goose-stepping all over this forum.

But conservatives are allowed to think for ourselves and only support those quacks in Washington or the state house when they get it right.

In this case Christie is an idiot and he deserves to be called for it.

When LA Mayor went out and protested WITH illegals in 2006 he said during his speech "we clean your toilets". A local radio station started the "Amnesty Brush Off" where listeners sent hundreds of toilet brushes to LA Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa. Maybe we should start sending Twinkies to the NJ Blob.

Congratulations, your ilk has just ruined another opportunity for Republicans to field a viable candidate. Keep this up and next election your ilk will fare even worse.

Don't get confused, I don't a flying frog's backside about your political future, that is your problem. Now watching your ilk get all bent out of shape because of Gov Christie getting along with Pres Obama, is just fun entertainment, that you can put in the bank.

So go ahead and squirm all you like, you are your own worst enemy.

Heard that in 2010. I also heard the Democrats would take the House back, how'd that work out. Obama won by less than the population of 2 boroughs of New York City. Please don't ever believe Obama didn't just squeeze by.

    I'm not squirming.

I've been very upfront in my disgust with Christie.

You are the one who came on here with your half-baked political spin about Republican's future as if you really cared.

Sen McCain recieved more votes than Gov Romney. In fact, total all the votes for the House elections, and more were cast for Democrats. In fact, RW predictions were all for Romney, so please save yourself form your own words.

So go ahead and remove Gov Christie from the Republican ranks, and find out for yourself how that will fare.

Yeah sure... I mean, what's almost 4,000,000 votes, a 3% difference and an Electoral College landslide?

By comparison Bush won his 2nd term with much tighter margins.

Just another LOL @ right-wingers and their ephemeral grasp on reality.

I think that America is slowly moving toward a socialist people's dictatorship where everyone expects and gets a pittance from the government.

That works for the Democrats and does not work for Republicans.

If that means that someday Americans are just as poor as the average Mexican or Kenyan then so be it.

We will mourn our national loss.

Its one of the problems that the Republican party must fix, if they plan on being a viable party to support next time around in the Presidential elections. So far it appears they haven't gotten the message; but the game is young. They have about 3 years left to spar with each other.

Repsect here seems to be defined as endlessly toeing the party line with absolutely no dissent ever.

I do not care for Christie. I think he is a blustering gasbag who gets his way in life through bullying and cajoling.

However, that being said, I am not sure why folks are so angry at him for saying that he appreciated the president's response to the devastation wreaked upon his state. Should he have acted in a way that was dishonest? Would that have earned him the respect he obviously does not crave?

No Democrat governor would have fawned over a Republican president the way Christie did.

He's just trying to hold onto his job by sucking up to the libs in his state.

And the irony is that while hurting Romney in the presidential election Christie probably gets thrown out of office anyway like Scott Brown did in Mass.

If for nothing it will show that he can be bi-partisan; something sorely lacking in the party right now and four years from now, depending on who the party can field for their choice, he could be one of them seeking nomination.

Romney would have lost regardless, you are only deluding yourself if you think otherwise. For Gov Christie, quite the opposite, people will appreciate his honesty.

He looks like a fat dope who was Obama's oversized lapdog for the weekend.

Christie is another moderate, same as Romney and McCain. He wouldn't win an election.

Here is the problem conservatives have with Christy.

He came out of the bag swinging and fighting uphill battles against entrenched liberal institutions. All that was good.

When it became apparent that he was getting in political trouble he used the hurricane to kiss up to Obama and the liberals to offset his hard-line image.

He sold us out basically to save his own political ass.

    To hell with him.

Well maybe not on his own Mike, but he does have some national star power that would be viable either as a nominee or the runnning mate, i.e., Rubio and Christie would be a strong ticket, group either way.

Mac's posts of taking down Gov Christie are too partisan for me. Like with all politicans, some things I like, some things I don't, there is no such thing as the perfect politician.

Yet another reason why I don't trust the Tea Party. Congratulations on isolating yourselves even more from the rest of the world.
