No surprise here - tax and spend Democrats are dispensing with their pretenses of bargaining in good faith with Republicans to avoid the fiscal cliff. And why should they? This is something the Leftists on both ends of Pennsylvania want - to avoid entitlement reform and raise taxes on the middle class. Behold the bad faith in all its glory: I'm shocked. Shocked! Here's the clincher from Dick Durbin: So, the plan - as it has been all along - is to just raise taxes. The cynicism of Democrats is truly a wonder to behold. Everyone knows that SS, Medicare and Medicaid spending has to be part of the plan to avert the short-term and long-term fiscal cliffs, but Durbin and others aren't even willing to talk about it. So, when taxes on the middle class skyrocket in 2013, be sure to thank the Democrats and the people who voted for them.
Let's see what Obama's real sentiments on middle class tax cuts are: Really now? I know I never asked the government to raise my taxes thousands of dollars because me and my family don't need more of the money I earn. What planet is that Alinskyite jackwagon living on? It's no wonder we have a spending and entitlement problem in this country when it is led by a delusional socialist fool who thinks he's entitled to more of our hard earned money. We're just serfs born to serve the will of our authoritarian collectivist masters.
More on the obstructionist Democrats who want to throw America over the fiscal cliff and raise taxes on the middle class: Now get a load of the content of this letter that a collection of delusional congressional nutters on the Left sent Harry Reid: Heh. Sounds like the fairy tale we were read by Barney Frank, Chuck Schumer and other Dims before the subprime lending crisis hit the fan...
Isn't odumbo on the "campaign trail" now trying to sell us on higher taxes? Oh, but he promised he'd "reach across the aisle" after the election to work with the GOP on the fiscal issues. Yeah right. He's doing exactly what anyone with half a brain cell knew he would do. He is wedded to the idea that redistribution is the answer. He doesn't have the first clue of the peril he is bestowing on the country.
Dems know the media is going to do everything it can to make the public believe this is all the fault of Republicans. Dems won't compromise on a thing. After the 2012 election they feel bulletproof. If Republicans stick to their guns, Dems are counting on them getting primaried in 2 years. If they cave, they'll probably still get primaried in 2 years. Dems will use their "compromising" against them, just like they did against Reagan and George HW Bush. It's a no win situation. I say bring on the fiscal cliff. America deserves some pain for acting so stupidly.
I disagree. He knows exactly what hes doing to America.....
Libs, we can't tax our way out of this hole. It's like trying to rob your way out of crack cocaine addiction.
I believe he knows the peril exactly. It defines him and his anti-colonial education. This is all by design, and he is engineering America towards mediocrity to perfection.
The arrogance of Democrats is truly laughable. As time goes on, they're making less and less of an effort to pretend that they're interested in cutting spending and keeping the Bush tax cuts for the middle class in place. As for the GOP, all is not lost. If Democraps want to turn back the tax clock to 2003 then Republicans can play along and refuse to raise the debt ceiling over the 2003 deficit level, which would be $374 billion max. That should focus the Democrats' attention.
This is what that coward romney should have pounded on . That obozo is a socialist who wants to expand the welfare state.
He knows what he's doing and he doesn't give a (*)(*)(*)(*) - socialists never do. The economically illiterate redistributionists in the USSR were warned in 1922 that they would destroy their economy and country but they moved forward with their self-destructive utopian fantasies anyway...

Attempting to shift the blame to the Democrats hasn't worked in years. Why do you cons keep trying it?
How long have you been hiding under that rock? Reagan had the same problem in the 80s. The Democratic Party's Modus Operandi is to promise spending cuts for raising taxes. When they get their tax increases, they legislate away any spending cuts so the taxes are there, but the spending continues. Note to conservatives in Congress: No negotiation with Democrats and the President until they show their good faith and work with the House on a (*)(*)(*)(*)ing budget. Do your (*)(*)(*)(*)ing job Reid!
Wow, a pointless youtube, you certainly have done your research! Pointless youtubes always make you look smart!
Unlike Governor Moonbeam and the idiots here in California, Obama isn't going to sell higher taxes in this economic environment and the recession that should have been over long ago had the administration not back-filled the misery.
Of course you real evidence and facts to back that up with.....right? How about writing a reasonable budget to start with? Do your (*)(*)(*)(*)ing job boner!!
Setting aside the shellacking that the Democraps received in 2010, there's no blame to shift here, sport. The progs on Capitol Hill have openly admitted they're not going to tackle spending...
I'm aware that the Democrats' insincerity and bad faith is nothing new, Piscivorous. By the way, I'm glad you mentioned the antique notion of crafting and passing federal budgets. When's the last time Barack Obama signed one into law? If that doesn't inspire confidence in the Democrats' unwillingness and inability to strike a fiscal deal before the end of the year, I don't know what will...
LMAO - GTF outta here with that Bravo Sierra. Since when did progs give a (*)(*)(*)(*) about writing a budget? The Democraps had total control of both ends of Pennsylvania Avenue for two years and they couldn't be bothered with writing one then, much less now. .
