depends on the situation honestly. i dont see many people in this country being beheaded, or even killed for reasons of not accepting a marriage proposal. that kind of killing seems to be much more common in muslim majority countries.

in general rapes,murder and assaults happen in every part of the world, but some places have a different way of going about it so to say.

 

They can do what they want, just as long as we close our borders to them.

 

Oh, geez, yeah, I suppose Fox News is NOT going to give any coverage to a US serviceman who slipped out at one night and slaughtered entire families in their beds and cribs, one by one, even going back to his usnit to ask for help. No one would have deflected any attention away from the horrible act against a 14 yo by murderers if the OP had not gratuitously indicated that, while "those people" did bad things, Americans do NOT do bad things.

Why do the Islamophobes do that? Why do Islamophobes have to exploit the murders of a young girl to generate hate for their campaign to make it OK to attack and kill Muslims.

its usually the liberals that love that kind of news, as long as a republican is in office they can blame for it. but CNN,ABC,MSNBC or the rest of the liberal horde stay silent on those subjects as to not bring any bad vibes upon the Great One.

 

These horrible atrocities against the Muslim girls/women of this culture have been going on since the beginning of time. Amnesty International & WHO have tried for decades to get the men to stop the honor killings, stoning women to death, the public beatings, FGM - all of it and it just continues.....

Despite the problems in this country, after reading for yrs the way the women are treated in the ME countries, I've always been so grateful I was born here.

 

FGM and honor killings are generally confined to Muslims in Africa and in the rural outbacks of places like Pakistan and Afghanistan... or in places like Sudan and Somalia where African traditions have not completely given way to Islam or Christianity.

When I was very little I would infrequently see bedouin women with tattoos or scarification on their faces. It was explained to me by a Saudi that you only saw that in families with East African wives.

Stoning is not Islamic.. nor is FGM..

Don't mistake modesty and a tradition of separation of the sexes for mistreatment. Saudi women are held in high esteem and have had businesses in their own right for generations.

The afghan murderers will go free after paying off her relatives. And the relatives will agree to the payoff in order to avoid a blood feud.

Paying off the victim's families is rare in the Muslim world... as most families will NOT accept it.

I can think of some fitting punishments for the perps. They would curse the days they were born. But it's not my problem. They did the girl a favor. Now she won't have to live with them and produce more idiots.

 

If the women had any sense they would kill their baby boys as soon as they could get their hands around their necks. It's stupid to raise someone who will oppress you. But since they don't they must not mind being oppressed. There's no reason to be concerned about it.

 

People are hardwired by evolution to love their children. It's a useful mechanism for species survival.

 

Sorry but I don't have that much rebar in me to raise someone who I know will oppress me because he thinks that he has the right to do so.
