Rasmussen and Gallup have him in the mid-50s.....which means (given their election polls)....he's probably at 60%+
Thanks, I forgot to post that Rasmussen actually has him even higher. Funny how their polls always seem to get "fixed" right after the elections.
Usually that happens the week before the election, simply so he can say he was correct and accurate. He is a scum bag. On the approval rating, the President has enjoyed pretty high ratings since his first election in 08, despite the constant attacks from the right. They can whine about 'failure' all they want, the American people know better.
Oh yea. How could anyone say Obama's failed? I mean, the poverty rate has increased to 15%, median real household income has gone down, he's added 13 million households to list of those recieving gov bennies, 5.5 million per year to the food stamp rolls and added record trillions to the debt. Now that's real progressive progress.
wow, a poll done in smack dab in the middle of liberal la la land is to be trusted, no way in hell they could skew the poll to their favor in any way. i sure would like to a layout of the areas they call in this country to get their outcome. probobly about 500 calls within connecticut, another 500 calls to San Francisco,500 calls to arizona and 500 calls to Ohio.
I really don't see how people trust polls. Especially one's reflecting what "everyone" thinks when I don't remember being polled, no one I knows ever got polled... Who are the people being polled in this national approval poll? And seeing as how they come up with new ones frequently, you'd think you'd notice someone going about from door to door or something.
We will see how his approval ratings do when his plans don't fix anything. You know as well as I do that the democrats plan for the future is not good. Once they get their tax increases what then? They have no plan.
Well the day of reckoning is coming one way or the other. You better hope and pray that the democrats are right because if everybody's taxes suddenly go up then the democrats are going to get another shellacking at the polls. Looking at the numbers you can tell that raising taxes on the wealthy isn't going to do jack but believe it if you want. We already see companies reacting to healthcare in a negative way, I can't recall one positive news story about it from a business point of view so I wish you luck. lol
if republicans allow all his plans to be put in place, they yes, but we will see, if they block them then republicans have to take credit for their actions too
too bad we could not get the trillion back that was wasted on the tax cuts for the rich during the last 10+ years not to mention the trillions lost on the tax rate being lower for the rich then the working class where was the trickle down... .
Everyone's taxes aren't going to up, just the wealthiest of the wealthiest's which is strongly supported by polling. And even the wealthiest won't see all their taxes increased. Only their income after the first 200 grand will be taxed higher (just to clear up a common lie circulating by conservatives and republicants). Of course, I fully expect corporations to react badly to the notion that they must treat their employees justly. "It has always been thus, and thus it shall ever be" This is in response to ken richaed's post #14. For some reason his quote was lost in my post.
Yes. It seems the American public loves chronic unemployment, profound intergenerational indebtedness and anemic economic growth. Who wouldn't love that?
