God knows everything, He knows who we Christians are no myth is necessary.

    - - - Updated - - -

The Bible with the "bible" spelling that you are reading is full of fairy tales not The Bible, that Bible is full of truth.

I can't believe you typed that without a sense of irony. There's absolutely no sign of YHWH, either.

And Muhammad had a vision of the angel Gabriel, while the various Gurus of Sikhism had visions of Waheguru, and numerous American Indian tribes have visions of their own gods. Why should we trust Constantine's vision as not being a similar condition?

Further, belief in Jesus is only a portion of about 1/3rd of humanity, but that's pretty irrelevant as that's simply an argument to popularity. If everyone thought that the earth rested on the back of a giant tortoise, would that make it true simply because everyone believed in it?

Just because Israel decides to make it their official history does not mean that it is accurate. North Korea officially has two dead men as the heads of state, that doesn't mean that Kim Song Il and Kim Il Jung are really leading North Korea.

Then how can you claim that the Bible is concentrating on Mesopotamia.

We know that species go extinct, but I'm not sure how that helps your case that aglobal flood happened.

I don't care what you have ever done, but if you think I am the ONE, you're ok with me, and we will call that justice.

Is that about it? How could you worship that? How would you feel about a person that had that value system?

I type it with full sense of faith, facts and belief. God or YHWH is upon you as well. That is why you are so restless.

Because Mohammed is wroshiping a false god that is why he went on a rampage of wars against Christians and everyone else. While Constantine's vision resulted in the halt to the persecution and killings of Christians.

Everyone with a normal sense of mind knows the earth does not rest on the back of a giant tortoise just like everyone with a normal sense of mind knows that a creator exist or God exist that is why scientist are relentlessly trying hard to discover creation or the Creator.

Not only Israel decide to make it their history but historians and scientist recognize it even if Israel did not include it in their history. Both North Korean Kim are real people that once rule North Korea and now they are part of their history.

If you say so, remember what I said, normal sense of mind people knows.

Because of proper education I learn that Noah live in what is Mesopotamia and thanks to the Bible we learn about the great flood.

A global flood can wiped out living things it is part of the reason why creatures or species go extinct especially a great flood that lasted for 40 days.

The God in the Tanakh said that he was destroying all life under the heavens. How is that concentrated on Mesopotamia?

If a global flood occurred, it would kill all living things, yes. And? What's your point? Nobody is arguing that it wouldn't, we are arguing that it didn't happen.

Actually God also know how much you hate Him.

    Excellent scripture and continue on:
17 so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.

What is wrong? Take it easy.

Because after God said He will destroy all life under heavens the story shifted and focus on Noah and the people in the Mesopotamia region. Now, could it be that because God is addressing Noah, God is actually referring to all the known world to Noah? Or the worldwide flood happen but the Bible concentrated its story only on Noah and in his region therefore we really don't know what happen when Mesopotamia was hit with a 40 days of super storm. What we know base on science is that civilization in other parts of the world life is very tough and brutal, weather and, climatic conditions are very harsh and tribes get wiped out either by natural calamities or by extermination by stronger tribes.

So, when God said the whole earth He did mean the whole earth but the punishment started in Mesopotamia and to work its way to other parts 40 days and after 40 days. Afterwards,
Genesis 8: 21 The Lord smelled the pleasing aroma and said in his heart: “Never again will I curse the ground because of humans, even though[a] every inclination of the human heart is evil from childhood. And never again will I destroy all living creatures, as I have done.

After the flood has receded, God promise never to destroy humanity, IMO by that time the rest of the unknown world had survivors, again the Bible focus its narration on Noah and on Noah's known world only the rest of the world was generalize.

Then in that case I am presenting that it did happen since there is no point using the Bible to proof it did happen I present science, logic and practicality to proof it did happen.

To be fair, science is also divided because they can not deny the artifacts and ancient evidences that they have discover plus with their understanding of global climatic condition scientist do understand that such global super storm can and have happen.

Nope, we've been over this. God said he was killing every living thing on earth under all the heavens. That doesn't sound regional to me.

Which says nothing about the physical impossibilities of a worldwide flood.

If the storm was not all over the planet at be same time, then you're also running into even further problems.

Wait, so you're saying that God failed to kill all living things?

You haven't provided anything besides "natural disasters occur."

No, there is no division in science. People claiming things like you do are not even on the radar of modern science.

First of all, what is your religion? I am a Christian and am non-denominational as far as I am concerned. I don't call Christianity a religion. Do you?

Yes, that is what God said and the story concentrated on Noah and Noah's world and Noah's world is the Mesopotamia region because God just wanted to focus on Noah and Noah's world.

Yes, only the possibility of a worldwide flood.

No not really, the only problem is with you.

Nope, God spare some living things.

I did provided other than natural disasters occurrences I provided the Bible, the Bible that you reject. So what else is left you don't accept the Bible, not science not myth, no theories, not history only conspiracy stories you accept.

Then in this case Isaac Newton was correct to say that God exist and Stephen Hawking is wrong about no God.

Albert Einstein "I want to know how God created this world, I am not interested in this or that phenomenon, in the spectrum of this or that element. I want to know His thoughts, the rest are details." Einstein's famous epithet on the "uncertainty principle" was "God does not play dice" - and to him this was a real statement about a God in whom he believed. A famous saying of his was "Science without religion is lame, religion without science is blind."

Your the best example of a goal post mover I have ever seen. Apparently you cannot keep up with the debate. Somewhere in all this you claimed a world wide flood now your back tracking and saying that it was possibly a local flood. How does a local flood affect the entire globe? The Nile was constantly overflowing it's banks.

Yep and your attempts to prove it with itself keep getting shot down. Whats next?

Considering Christianity calls itself a religion, is centered around a belief in a God, is treated as a religion by society and government, has acted as a religion for a very long time, has killed many to promote itself as such.....I would say there is a compelling case to label it as a Religion.

The goal post is just a marker if you want to expand your mind you move the goal post or else you get stuck on the same spot for the rest of your life that is why our civilization progresses in science, philosophy and theology because we know were to move the goal post right now the goal post is set on planet Mars. The local flood is a theory because the Bible is very clear the story revolves around and the known world of Noah which is the Mesopotamia region and at the same time the Bible said the whole earth and left it at that, that is why the local theory. You have to accept the local flooding fist before moving to the global one if you can not accept the local flooding there is no way you can understand the global one.

That is why 2 Timothy 3 12 In fact, everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted, 13 while evildoers and impostors will go from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived. 14 But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have become convinced of, because you know those from whom you learned it, 15 and how from infancy you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. 16 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, 17 so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.

You should refrain from this kind of sources they are all conspiracy theories, now I understand why you are so confuse.

I did not try to prove anything by myself I presented science since you do not accept the Bible, scientist that accept the existence of God and God's mysterious ways. You have deny science and insist that all scientist think as one and they all do not believe in God, that kind of perception is comparable to communism and it is because of this that Christians is a symbol of freedom, democracy and most of all truth.

I call Christianity a religion, you are part of your own denomination that you consider or embrace the basic and main teachings, concept and philosophy of Christianity which is the worship and acceptance of Jesus Christ if not then you are not a Christian.

The word religion is a word created by men in order to be able to distinguish the religious from the atheist and separate as well as identify different people who worship different religion. There are many words that evolve with the same purpose to expand the science of communication.

    Yes, Christianity is a religion.

Sorry not CONFUSED! You a shrink now? It's only a CONSPIRACY THEORY when it goes agianst your religious fundamentalism of thinking. You deny it because you have no way to disprove them. These are myths that were created long before your FLOOD myth in the Bible some even predate the BABBLE.

Creation advocates are not scientist they are fools shroud in MYTH.

Here you take the authors word for it but no way to prove it. The toilet can inspire me to take a dump but that does not mean it told me to.

That's what you keep saying, I see no indication in the Bible that God concentrated on Mesopotamia.

Nope, pretty much breaks multiple laws of multiple different sciences.

Where the hell does Genesis say that?

"7 The Lord then said to Noah, “Go into the ark, you and your whole family, because I have found you righteous in this generation. 2 Take with you seven pairs of every kind of clean animal, a male and its mate, and one pair of every kind of unclean animal, a male and its mate, 3 and also seven pairs of every kind of bird, male and female, to keep their various kinds alive throughout the earth. 4 Seven days from now I will send rain on the earth for forty days and forty nights, and I will wipe from the face of the earth every living creature I have made.”

So, either your God failed or you're saying the Bible lied:

"Every living thing that moved on land perished—birds, livestock, wild animals, all the creatures that swarm over the earth, and all mankind."

I don't even know what the (*)(*)(*)(*) you're saying half the time. What conspiracy theories are you talkin about? Rejecting a worldwide flood isn't considered a conspiracy theory.

Did you just really quote Albert Einstein? WanRen, you do know that he called the idea of a personal Christian God childish, right? He was a pantheist.

Guys, the level of denial here is really sad. Have you never heard of the Biblical Archaeology ?

There are thousands of Christian archaeologists. The vast majority of these Christian archaeologists are not out there saying that "atheists have taken over".

It was Christians that debunked creationism as much as anyone else. The overwhelming majority of Christian archaeologists do not believe the flood story. Of course you can find a nut or two out there if you search hard enough but I would check to see if they are legitimate archaeologists and not someone who just picked up a shovel one day.

Not even the Pope believes in creationism - and the stance of the Catholic Church is that evolution was Gods plan.

When you come across evidence, archaeological or otherwise, that conflicts with your beliefs; To just scream "atheist atheist" is not only a logical fallacy (ad hom - attacking the person instead of the refuting the argument) it is a form of denial which, in this case is borderline admittance that one is under the influence of mind control.

Fear of eternal punishment has a powerful subconscious effect on the conscious. Taught to children, or even adults, can exert a powerful influence on the mind.

When encountering a idea that conflicts with ones religious beliefs the subconscious is paralysed by fear. This is why the conscious will accept the most ridiculous and irrational explanations because the mind can not handle "bad idea". It is a coping mechanism.

Questioning Gods existence is scary because the fear of eternal punishment is scary. What could be more terrifying than eternal torture ?

This is perhaps the most powerful mind control technique ever invented.

I prefer to think that Gods methodology does not include the use of sophisticated mind control techniques. If God wanted us to believe in his existence that badly then why not just show up !
