Way to keep dodging the question. The only person you're accountable to will overlook everything you do if you believe hard enough. I'm accountable to myself, and am not so forgiving. Sounds like I have far more reason than you do to be moral.

This is actually an excellent and very astute statement on a few levels.

*3 own = This word is not in the original manuscripts and is in this case wrongly supplied. You will notice in the King James Version (KJV) and in the New King James Version (NKJV) that this word is in italics, that means that it is a word the translators added to make the verse more 'readable' in the English. Also note that 'elohiym is a plural noun and does not fit grammatically with "in his own image." Also see note below.
    http://www.biblestudysite.com/adam.htm

This seems to differ. Other sites claim,"own" was not used in originals either.

So in one post you have given your blessing to adultery and slavery. According to you these aren't an issue morally for the devout Christian.

    Who knew?

There is no need to respond to you.
You know the truth of the accusations you made. You have to live with being a deceitful person of no integrity.
As for those following this, they have already made the judgment of each of us. If they are PF readers, they know our tendencies and reputations. There is nothing to prove to them either. They already have all the evidence they need.

Another lie coming from thebrucebeat. If, as he says, there is no need to respond to me, then he would not be responding. Therefore, there is a need for him to respond.

All of the following text of his is now rendered meaningless, as he has already stipulated that there is no need to respond to me.

Did he say that there was no need to respond to me? Yes! He did! Did he make a further response? Yes! He did! Therefore, he told another lie. When his postings start off with a lie, then there is no need to give any further portion of his statements any credibility at all... they should be treated as he wanted them to be treated,,, as if there was no need for them to be there. So, sonny,,, perhaps you should go back to school and grow up.

It seems adultery, slavery, rape, genocide are all acceptable. Being gay, not so much.
Hey I don't make the rules, I just tells em as they sees em.

Obviously you care, because you are now talking about it. Do you often go around babbling about things that you don't care about? To expend your energy on something would be an indication that for one reason or another, you have a care about that thing. If there is no care about the thing, then the expenditure of energy on that thing would be an illogical operation.

Then perhaps you should entertain yourself with a "grown up" forum. Your continued use of analogous descriptors (essentially 'name-calling') is also akin to what "grade schoolers" would involve themselves. Keep up the 6th grade agenda.

Oh, you missed the spelling, your god is spell with a small letter "god" my God is spell with a capital letter "God" even the scientist spell their new found God "God-particle" with a capital letter. So is your god a god or the God? The strawman is in you I just expose it for you for you.

Off your you don't understand my logic you are now dragging Justin Beiber in to the discussion, what is your issue is it to attempt to corrupt his thread?

All of them are very tough except lately there has been many strawman questions but in spite of that I still respond to all questions as much as I can.

So which one of the many answers you feel is not a tough answer?

Let us be clear here first, that I didn't lie I posted that man were created in the image of God base on the Bible it just so happen that my Bible is not what you consider to be the right Bible for you. I can understand the attitude of many here that always like to accuse me of lying that is ok, I never accuse any of you guys lying unless you accuse me first I may claim that you are distorting facts, or misinterpreting, or mislead or anti Christian but not liars.
    Secondly, since you claim that the main stream Bible is wrong base on the link you provided, am I to assume that you do believe in God and a Bible not exactly the main stream Bible but a Bible base on the link you provided? Because if you do then the issue will all be about interpretation just like like Christian sects vs other Christian sects and not about no God issue? And the Tough Question for Christian base on this thread is not what you really are asking but more on "which is the real Bible?" So I leave that to you to think about, now to your link;

That is a very interesting website, base on that website the author is conducting some serious research and one thing he did said:

In other words "in the image of God created he him" (the male), but "male and female created he them" (i.e., not in the image of 'Elohiym, but that both male and female were created at the same time).

In other words, indeed man (male) was created in the image of 'Elohiym (God), but the female, while being fully human and a created human being, was not in the image of the 'Elohiym.

In other words, God created the male whom He created, in his image; but the female that He created, He did not create in his image; i.e., women do not look like the angels, nor like God, nor like Jesus, for those were all male forms, and the women are female forms. Woman was created for this age so that the Sons of God (the angels) could be born into the flesh of our world (age). Males do not wombs. In Heaven all will be in male forms once again.

Right now all I can say is the author is still in a deep research mode he is still not sure what to make of the Bible interpretation at the same time all Christian churches this include Protestant, Anglicans, Orthodox, Coptic, Catholics and Evangelicals all share the same Genesis Gospel that God created man in His own image and that is the official accepted Bible gospel. So for now until such time that church researchers come up or make new discoveries about the Bible the official Gospel is God created man in His image.
    Genesis 1
26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

Are you sure it was my post or you just misinterpreting or taking my post out of context? Where is the adultery? where is I supporting slavery? Being an issue or not does not equate to supporting.

Except that Jesus does judge certain groups of people throughout the Gospels, does he not? My perception of the question you are answering relates to Jesus' call to voluntary poverty that he makes quite often. He may not consider himself to be the final judge (though if he is God, he is, but that is all Catholic nonsense) but he did go out and judge the rich quite often, telling his followers that "How hardly shall they that have riches enter into the kingdom of God! ...Children, how hard is it for them that trust in riches to enter into the kingdom of God! It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.", and also telling a rich man to abandon all of his wealth to be a follower of him.
    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

On pg. 28 of Part 2 post # 272 I specifically said that "Jesus did not come to us to judge the world or correct the world (society). The main purpose He came into the world was to save mankind from sins, that's why we Christians refer to Jesus as our Lord Savior.

"For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world should be saved through Him." John 3:17 NAS

And so to answer your question, no Jesus was not judging certain groups of people, you have, no doubt about it, misinterpreted those verses. Let me explain the message behind the verses you mentioned.

Jesus was using hyperbole, a figure of speech that exaggerates for emphasis. He was conveying a message over to His listeners. Jesus used this technique at other times, referring to a “plank” in one’s eye (Matthew 7:3-5) and swallowing a camel (Matthew 23:24).

Jesus was saying—it is impossible for anyone to be saved on his own merits. Since wealth was seen as proof of God’s approval, it was commonly taught by the rabbis that rich people were blessed by God and were, therefore, the most likely candidates for heaven.

Jesus destroyed that notion, and along with it, the idea that anyone can earn eternal life. The disciples had the appropriate response to this startling statement. They were utterly amazed and asked, “Who then can be saved?” in the next verse. If the wealthy among them, which included the super-spiritual Pharisees and scribes, were unworthy of heaven, what hope was there for a poor man?

Jesus’ answer is the basis of the gospel: "With man this is impossible, but not with God; all things are possible with God" (Matthew 19:26). Men are saved through God’s gifts of grace, mercy, and faith (Ephesians 2:8-9).

Nothing we do earns salvation for us. It is the poor in spirit who inherit the kingdom of God (Matthew 5:3), those who recognize their spiritual poverty and their utter inability to do anything to justify themselves to a holy God. The rich man so often is blind to his spiritual poverty because he is proud of his accomplishments and has contented himself with his wealth. He is as likely to humble himself before God as a camel is to crawl through the eye of a needle.

Here's a good one (although Mitt Ryan has yet to answer any of my questions, so I won't hold my breath on this one): why should we ask questions about Christianity when its most basic concepts are both unproven and unprovable? It all amounts to so much kerfluffle about how wonderful the emperor's new clothes are. It's a waste of time to even go to the level of "All right, for the sake of argument, let's assume your theology is correct" when there is absolutely no reason whatsoever to think that that would be the case. So... I guess there are three questions here:

    1. How could Christianity, even in theory, be proven/proven wrong?
    2. Why should I believe in your religion if it cannot be falsified or demonstrated?
    3. Why should any other question matter before those are answered?
    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    1. Impossible to prove either way. What may be considered as strong evidences to some might be considered as weak evidence to others, consequently impossible to be proven/proven wrong.

    2. It doesn't matter to me if you believe or not believe in my religion of Christianity. I am not here to gather followers, I am here to answer tough questions regarding Christianity and also to express my absolute faith in Almighty God, the Creator of the universe and everything that exists.

    3. It doesn't matter to me what matters to you.

    1. Christians are the living proof that Christianity is true, historical and factual. It can not be proven wrong.
    2. Theories are only for the deniers of the truth of Christianity. Christianity has already been demonstrated as true with the resurrection of Jesus Christ that is why it is not possible to falsified Christianity.
    3. Questions always matters that is why Christian leaders hand in hand with scientist have for centuries work hard to further reveal the truth about Christ.
