I believe that is the issue at hand. The current modern bibles have been misinterpreted, mistranslated, misused to the point it is hard to know what is correct.
I believe one has to go back to as much original documents as possible to find correct wording.
Remember, false prophets is dangerous. And if our modern bible is messed up, whether intentional or unintentional, is a cause for concern.
So one has to find out original intent.
If one repeats a lie, even if they don't know it is a lie, it is still a lie.

Before you denigrate all modern bibles as being abuses of contemporary scholars, remember they are based on far older manuscripts than the KJV was based on. Older manuscripts are closer to the original texts, and the closer to the original you get the more authentically you are recreating the original intent of scripture. Contemporary bibles are also edited by far more qualified and dedicated scholars that are able to pull from far more in depth resources than earlier translations had available to them.
This is why the defenders of the KJV as the inspired translation are badly misled in their devotion to that version.

Go all the way back to the existing original manuscripts and what do you have? You have an original set of manuscripts (especially the Hebrew) that are written in a language that is no longer spoken today. Without anyone available to do that speaking in the original tongue, then there is no logical way to translate those manuscripts other than to use ambiguous placement of vowels that were not present in the original manuscripts. Therefore, even the earliest translations are in question.

 

Dude how can Christianity have been demonstrated as true with the resurrection of Jesus, when you haven't demonstrated that resurrection as being true? Just because a book says it happened doesn't mean it actually did happen.

Joseph being Jesus's foster father doesn't count, and Mary was not of the House of David. Christian apologists will saying that Emmanuel was only a description, not a name. And that being adopted by Joseph made Jesus part of the House of David. Liars can find ways to prove anything. When the Vikings were around it was about the Vikings and the Vikings will evolved to become Norwegians and Scandinavians that is the factual truth and proven to be so and for their religion it will be proven to be just a myth.

Muslims are living proof that Islam is the anti Christ, the parallel religion of Christianity.

Hindus are living proof that they are for real and yes they are proven to be real people not myth. While Hinduism as a religion is one of the many religions that is totally different from Christianity.
