Abortion is a form of violence and abuse. Abortion is about women using violence to get what they want. There is an inconvenient human life, and women simply seek to get rid of it, since it is standing in the way of them getting out of a pregnancy. "Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere." Martin Luther King Jr. What message is society sending when abortion is completely legalized? That it is okay for to use violence to get what you want?
Hardly. Abortion is a medical procedure that women may choose if they do not wish to continue their pregnancy. Nothing more, nothing less. You are drawing unsubstantiated conclusions here.
No, it isn't but advocating that women should have sandpaper shoved up their vagina as you do in this thread """sticking a probe up the woman's hmm-hmmm """" IS violence.... why is it OK for you to be violent ???? Oh, and page 20 of this thread you also advocate violence : ""Sorry anti-choicers abortion is here to stay ""
Violence is being perpetrated against the most defenseless and vulnerable, those who cannot stand up for themselves. And yet pro-aborts say the government does not have any role.
No violence in an abortion but even if there was YOU like violence, you said so: """""Anders Hoveland View Profile View All Activity Private Message View Forum Posts View Blog Entries Add as Contact Guru Posts: 4,912 At least none of the "Regressives" (as you call them) want to ABORT anyone. There's NO comparison. btw, maybe they should wrap those probes with sand paper before they stick it up there!!!!!!!!!!!!! nice and rough, pro-choicers like that, don't they? They treat the baby like (*)(*)(*)(*) for their sexual enjoyment !!!!! sandpaper would be just a tiny taste of what the fetus has to go through... """"""
No woman is forced to get an ultrasound. It's just that the abortion doctor isn't allowed to do business with her if she doesn't. I know pro-aborts think abortions are an essential life-saving medical procedure, but actually the truth is far different. Abortion is an elective procedure, not the slightest bit medically necessary (except in very rare situations). Of course, pro-choicers like to believe that women "need" abortions. If a woman wants to have her child terminated, I think it's fairly reasonable to have some strings attached.
You don't mean 'some strings attached"....and why should she? because YOU say so? LOL!!!! What YOU really mean is women should be forced to do things they don't want to do....some people who don't like women get off on that....
No, they just shouldn't be allowed to do certain things (including killing), just like anyone else in society. The pregnancy was caused by the woman's own choices.
Just because it happens in the womb, out of sight, does not mean grissly horrible things do not occur. Contrary to popular belief, abortion is not always just some quick instantaneous thing. WARNING, graphic diagram of abortion tools: http://www.priestsforlife.org/resources/medical/de.jpg Ouch, this one looks especially awful: http://pro-lifetube.com/addons/albums/images/164569414.jpg
Abortion isn't murder so it is allowed. The pregnancy was caused by the woman's own choices...so? Now she has another choice....YOU have no business deciding when her right to choose is done. How many of your personal choices would you be willing to give up to the control of others??? AND, again, you have proved beyond all doubt that your ONLY concern in the abortion issue is punishing women....it has nothing to do with caring for that fetus.....
It's too late. She brought another person into existence. Through her careless actions, she brought a fetus into her boat. Now she is obligated to row the boat for the remainder of the journey, until she can safely get her baby to dry land. What about the moral obligation use punishment on the guilty to protect the defenseless and vulnerable? Fact is, the woman did have a choice, and the pregnancy is only for a few months. Only 6 months, in fact, if the woman if trying to get an abortion after 12 weeks. Maybe that should be the cut-off point. ( around 12% of abortions are currently being done after 12 weeks) The woman has no excuse if she waits that long. Not only did she engage in vaginal sex, and not take the proper preventative measure (in all probability), but she also waited until the fetus became more developed, even though she knew she was pregnant.
YOUR morals are not everyone's. YOU don't get to decide who has what moral obligations..... I consider anyone who advocates shoving sandpaper up a woman's vagina, as YOU DO, to be totally immoral....
and yet you have no problem taking another person out of existence if it doesn't meet your criteria of what is acceptable ie DS or mixed race children, or if the ideology of another doesn't meet your criteria ie in war .. Morality is entirely subjective, why are your morals any better than someone born in another place and in another culture, why should your gods laws be followed any more that another gods laws .. is it because you believe your morals and your god are right, if so then you are basing your opinion entirely on your own assumptions.
This is just a straw man used by choicers. If a woman gets raped, she should immediately see a doctor and get a shot of estrogen to prevent the pregnancy. And a "day after" pill on top of that. There are other things that can be done to prevent the possibility of a pregnancy at this early age. Being that the woman knows she was raped, there is no excuse not to take action immediately. A woman who is raped is aware far earlier than other women that there may be a potential pregnancy. In any case, less than 1% of abortions are due to rape. Oh, and by the way, an abortion does not un-rape you. In fact for some women the abortion can be like being raped all over again.
Statements like that and YOUR advocating violence against women by wanting to have sandpaper shoved up their vaginas helps the Pro-Choice side.....
When Ron Paul suggested a "shot of estrogen" (for honest rape), he was talking about the morning after pill. But its effectiveness diminishes quickly. It is crucial to take it as soon as possible, but even then, if the egg has already been released, it won't work. A girl under the age of 17 must have a prescription, meaning it might be too late by the time she can get an appointment, and get the prescription filled. Sometimes a pharmacist will refuse to fill a prescription because he believes EC "may cause an abortion." (It does not). Pro-lifers continue to claim Plan B may be an abortifacient, making access to it more difficult, so don't say a woman "has no excuse not to take action immediately." And please, women are not so stupid as to think an abortion can "un-rape" them, and they do know the difference between a consensual action and a forced one.
They are not a Person since they have not developed fully yet and because the law also says so. One cannot commit an act of violence on a person it there is no person. Simple as that.
Just another excuse, a poor excuse at that, because we all know abortion is not just done on little embryos. Baby outside the womb at 24 weeks, right at the abortion limit. And to think, only 12 hours earlier his mother could have aborted him. Wow, just look at his little fingers, they are no bigger than the wires used to monitor his vital signs.
