Here's the key to George Zimmerman's character. He's a hero.

So many scorned him as a "wanna be cop" because he could not get into the police department.

But George Zimmerman wanted to be the police department for the best of reasons, because he is a "wanna be hero."

And it took bravery to patrol his neighborhood, which was often plagued by break-ins. Not everyone would do something like that. Zimmerman could have said, "Not me, I don't want to get involved." And most people do just that.

Zimmerman went out in the night, night after night, to protect his neighbors, and his reward was to become "the most hated man in America."

And now he's a hero again, rescuing a family from an overturned truck. He came out of hiding, putting himself at risk, to save the lives of people he doesn't even know.

And this is the grave injustice that has been done here.

George Zimmerman, who should be getting a medal for protecting his neighborhood, is forced into hiding for the rest of his life.

It makes me ashamed to be an American.

In before the posts that say he manufactured this event to look good in front of the public eye.

    Good for him.

This is too good, I hope the pathetic ugly haters of George enjoy the "Black-lash" of their hate, most of America will continue to see him as a good guy, and George would be a mere blip on the radar if Trayvon hadn't acted like a gang bang n' yo baby thug attacking George only to end up dead

So, he's still in the area and has no fear for his own safety despite the claims that people are after him for having been found not guilty.

It does tend to show his character, foolish in the extreme.

So you slam him for sticking around and being a hero?

Ladies and Gentlemen, we have the definition of liberal logic.

From the article cited in the OP.

No one was reported to be injured.

I must say that the martyrdom of George Zimmerman seemingly knows no bounds.

The guy is a hero for helping uninjured people out of a vehicle? Really? How grossly has the definition of a hero been diminished that this is considered a heroic act?

You know what a hero is to me? A person that works in a (*)(*)(*)(*)ty inner city school for crap pay, simply because they want to help. A guy who works two full time jobs to make ends meet and take care of his family. A doctor that volunteers his time to treat the indigent and homeless for free.

That is what I think of when I hear the word hero.

Not some (*)(*)(*)(*)wit who helped two uninjured people out of a car simply because he happened, through sheer coincidence, to be there. There is nothing heroic about this act. He did what any other normal person would do.

Slamming someone while giving a veiled complement about the same action is common sense to you?

I see George hasn't changed. He is still helping people like the hero he is. He saved his neighbors from being a victim of Trayvon's.

Yup, that is the epic stupidity of liberal logic.....you're and idiot for defending yourself, and you're an idiot for helping people. Just go through life as a doormat. If someone decides to beat you down, let them. If someone needs help, fock 'em. This is how to be a quality human being.

Yeah, but you know if it was a black family in that truck he would've laughed as he watched them die.

He helps rescue people from an overturned truck while the black hearted racists are protesting nationwide against him? Well that has to put a spell on the anti Zimmerman racists, Sharpton, Jackson, Obama, and their following rabble. Pretty darned cool!

Ah-oh....a Trayvon groupie. It must burn you to hear once again that Zimmerman is a good guy, because that doesn't fit you measure of him.

I see the liberals are really upset that Zimmerman saved people from a burning vehicle.
That doesn't fit the narrative one bit.

Someone should just follow this man around with a stereo playing this:

How will his defenders spin his next shooting?

The premise presented was not whether or not Zimmerman was a good guy, but rather called him a hero for helping uninjured people getting out of a car after an accident.

Now I would expect that sort of behavior to be considered typical, not heroic.

As for the Trayvon groupie nonsense, I do not know what that has to do with the situation at hand.
