As progressives fast approach Armageddon with their policies, it is important to be able to keep up with the new lingo. Here are but a few terms to identify. 1. War. It is not a war if you attack a sovereign country. It only becomes a war if they fire back or if the person who fires first is from another country. 2. Obstructionist. Anyone who attacks a progressive policy, such as Putin not going along with the attack on Syria or running up the deficit, is an obstructionist. After all, Kerry said so. The only other options are to be a "speedbump" that simply slows them down or a dead head who is drinking the cool aid. 3. Political courage. This terms means that progressives in the Federal government acknowledge that they are about to screw the American people or those internationally, by it still needs to be done to accomplish some goal of a Joe Shmo progressive agenda that they deem as "good". 4. Extremist. Anyone who opposes progressive policy. (see obstructionist) It helps to have varying terms that mean the same thing so as to mix it up a bit. There is the added implication that anyone who opposes enlightened progressive policies should probably be declared legally insane. Can anyone think of any more?
Obama just wants to put on a little war paint, drop a couple bombs on a couple headline worthy targets, and maybe get some decent photo-ops in at the same time. Maybe this is so he can say that he took decisive moral action against an evil regime. Geese. Let him play with his toys a little fer God's sake. What's the big deal? We might as well be getting a little death and mayhem from that three quarters of a trillion dollars we spend annually on maintaining the world's police force.
Only rightwingers are warmongers whereas progressives are proactive problem solvers . . . with Cruise Missiles.
extremist: any person who questions progressive policy, especially entitlement spending or chooses to own and/or carry a legal firearm. radical: anyone right of Obama who chooses not to remain silent (Both the above censored when referring to Islamists)
Work place violence: This term refers to radical al-Qaeda terrorist mowing down rooms full of non-blelievers with a gun. Back in the day this would have been referred to as terrorism but progressives are worried that some people might be skeptical of Muslims if we keep saying that word.
"International community" - a non existent entity used to create the appearance of their policies having support from other nations, only these alleged allied nations are unnamed and really don't exist.
Under Bush "Liberals" insisted that we should never be the world's police, yet under Obama they think we should be exactly that. Another example of the idiocy of the left!
A birther - anyone who's so much as to ask about Obama's previous achievements, grades, whereabouts, biographical details... forget asking about fake birth certificate - it's so passé...
To bad the Korean war was a policing action and not....you know called a war. That was some old school conservative lingo. Got to give credit where it is due
Harry Truman and the democrats committed us to Korea. I'm not sure how the phrase "police action" then becomes a conservative buzz word. Equality (progressive noun) :What is expected for protected social classes in theory. In practice "equality" isn't nearly enough.
What do you mean by conservative lingo? Democrat President Harry Truman did refer to the Korean war as "police action" at the beginning but I'm not following you on the conservative stuff. Can you clarify?
Truman was a conservative?? The real conservative involved was Douglas MacArthur and had the liberal fool Truman nuke the Chinese if need be to reunify Korea the world would be a much better place.
1. Hater/Bigot/racist - anyone who doesn't agree with the leftist agenda or doesn't agree specifically with "affirmative action", "welfare", "free stuff", etc. Anyone who dislikes Obama.
Actually, Truman used a WMD. I wonder how that is any different than Assad using one, other than the US killing far more people.
Truman's ended WWII, for one thing. And of course, no one has yet to demonstrate Assad actually used a WMD.
