This is a common Leftie Propaganda tactic. The left has many other new terms which they use:

Climate Denier - Anyone who insists on real scientific, mathematical, and procedural rigor in climate science. And/or Anyone who dares to question Liberal Chicken Little Dogma on Climate Change and the concept that it is primarily human caused.

The "Denier" is a deliberate linkage to the animus we feel toward people such as Iran's Ahmadinejad or American Neo-Nazi Holocaust deniers. The push is to make socially outcast anyone who dares to review the science with scientific rigor, rather than a spending and control agenda.

The new ones associated with their attempting to re-make themselves into Hawks are rather amusing.

Red Line - a vaguely communicated threshold with ominous threats which turn out to be just hot air.

The only thing good about security with Obama is wearing his bicycle helmet.

    President Obama, then and now.

    On Congress:

Then: "In instances of self-defense, the president would be within his constitutional authority to act before advising Congress or seeking its consent. History has shown us time and again, however, that military action is most successful when it is authorized and supported by the legislative branch."
-President Obama's response to candidate questionnaire from the Boston Globe, Dec 2007.

Now: "As commander and chief, I always preserve the rights and responsibilities to act on behalf of Americas national security. I do not believe that I was required to take this to Congress. But I did not take this to Congress just because it is an empty exercise. I think it is important to have Congress support on it."
-News conference in Stockholm, Sept 4 2013.

    On Acting Alone:

Then: "In a world in which threats are more diffuse and missions more complex, America cannot act alone. America alone cannot secure peace."
-Speech accepting Nobel Prize, Dec 2009.

Now: "I'm comfortable going forward without the approval of a UN Security Council that, so far, has been completely paralyzed and unwilling to hold Assad accountable."
-Remarks made at White House Garden Aug 31 2013.

John Kerry, does he hear himself talk?

"I don't believe that we are taking America to war". Well that's great John. I'm glad you don't believe it. That makes us all feel so much better. In fact, I'm sure once you attack Syria the conflict will end the second you decide to stop attacking them.

This is the same idiot that voted for "W" to take action against Iraq, and then turn on him by saying that he was "deceived" by him.

Complete lies. Launching missiles at a sovereign country is an act of war and the Constitution only authorizes the president to conduct such military offensives if the threat to US national security is immediate and imminent not some hypothetical nonsense about Iran being 'emboldened'....it's like Vietnam and the 'domino theory' all over again....

The US flourished for well over a century before progressives came on the scene. We had a free market, and free press, and jobs. Then came the progressives and their endless wars at the turn of the 20th century as well as a Great Depression.

    Nice.

So when do we give corporate America all of our money again to help avoid the next depression?

Progressives joke about conservatives wanting to turn the clock back and take the country "backwards", however, as progressives continue to destroy the country and world around them, the more people long for it.

Obama has painted himself into a corner. Some Syrians are going to have to die so that Obama's ego may live.

Isn't it surreal? There are people in Syria waking up today that have to die in a few days because Obama is a fool tied to US prestige.

His policy is incoherent. What is to be accomplished? A spanking? Historically, when has that ever worked?

But if Obama is to remove Assad, like he did Gaddafi, then Al Qaeda takes over the WMD's.

Funny how Gaddafi never used WMD's. The goal posts are forever moving.

Neo-Isolationist- Is what you've become if you don't support getting bogged down in another middle east conflict with no international support, any clear objectives, and helping jihadists nutjobs.

The left has a very odd perspective on racism. Racism is simply illogical, nothing more - there's nothing evil about it until you actually start coercing people. Just saying the n-word, for instance, might be racist, but it's not wrong. (*)(*)(*)(*) them, they have a right to get offended, I have a right to say what I like.

The problem is that they've taken racism to ridiculous extremes - I can't help but get the feeling that they feel so overwhelmingly guilty about the past that they're willing to go full racist in reverse. Persecution breeds the inclination to start persecuting in the opposite direction.

That would make George W. Bush, Dick Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld, and Condi Rice and the entire Bush Administration...progressives. :roflol:

So it appears that the Russians and the Republicans have a lot in common. They both hate gays, and they're both obstructionists.

Uhhh....that's so generic it could just as easily be applied to a conservative. Just insert the word conservative in place of progressive. You really missed the mark on this one.

I'd actually use the word Extortionist right alongside Extremist. Extortion means forcing someone into giving you something through threats. A bully who tells kids he'll beat them up if they don't give him their lunch money is guilty of extortion. That would be anyone willing to tank the US economy by threatening to default on it's debts unless they get their way despite the fact that they lost an election....twice. That would pretty much define the conservative today.

This thread is a right wing circle jerk. Everyone crying in a bottle of cynicism. Enjoy yourselves. Only three more years of the black guy. But hey, we survived the last guy. I'm sure you'll live.

Why play the race card when I did not bring the issue of race into this? As far as Bush went I was against all of his warmongering. Just like I have been against Obama's warmongering. I don't judge a president by the color of his or her skin . . . but then again I'm not a race infatuated leftwinger.

Why does the left feel the need to play the race card every other minute?

    - - - Updated - - -

Hat a clever argument. Query, you want the government to take more front he people. That is a given. What do you expect them to do with it, will they spend it wisely? What infrastructure is going to be built? Have you heard a plan yet? Or are you just sure people need to pay up?

And typical of leaders that are hell-bent on justifying the escalation of our military involvement, the second incident that Johnson referred to on 8/4/64 never happened.

Given our sad history of trumping up reasons to go kill people, we'll probably find out in subsequent decades that the CIA aligned with rebel forces were behind the Syrian chemical attacks in order to help force the fools running the government to man up or face ridicule. I mean, would finding that out really surprise anyone?

"Remember the Maine, to Hell with Spain!" - oops - yet another trumped up war made favorable to the people by deception..

    That doesn't answer my question.

No one is able to come up any non-progressive policies that have worked??

    Let's see:

    Trickle-down economics: NO!

    Deregulating financial markets: NO!

I can't think of any either!!
