Well let's just say you are confused in what you are, in what to believe, or you're just a pathological lying atheist. According to you, you were first a non-believer, then a believer becoming an ordained minister, then a non-believer again because you felt silly preaching what you knew to be untruths and so you walked away.

Tell me how did you know as you were preaching from Scripture that they were untruths? Do you somehow have access to 100% of all knowledge?

You can't prove it, and so why did you make a statement like that?

That's why I can't take you seriously when you made the claim you were once an ordained minister of the faith. It's more likely you have been an atheist all your life.

What you should have said which would have been more believable is that you lost your faith in the religion because you just couldn't believe it anymore and not that you knew of untruths that made you feel silly preaching.

It really doesn't matter to me what you are but if you are going to talk about yourself can you at least keep it honest and believable. I respect people a whole lot when they can at least be honest with others on forums such as we have here at the PF regardless on where one stands as far as religion is concerned.

FYI santa, the easter bunny, the tooth fairy are understood by most of us (but I guess not the uninformed such as yourself) as being fictional, made up....they are not real dairyair.

Speaking about the 2/3 that are excluded from eternal bliss, they put themselves there, they exclude themselves and so you can't blame God.

God has given every single one of us a chance for eternal bliss, the ones who don't believe in it, reject Jesus Christ as their Lord Savior don't get this eternal bliss.

They get puished for their sins and it's a fact we are all sinners every single one of us but the sinners who ask for forgiveness of their sins, accepts Jesus Christ as their Lord Savior include themselves into this eternal bliss.

That was a direct response to Freedom Seeker claiming that in order to leave the faith one had to be beaten up about it. He was defending himself for his gestapo tactics in relating to believers. I was showing him that didn't have to be the case.
The sad thing about this is my post was defending you and people with your beliefs from bullies like Freedom Seeker. I was trying to show him that there was a different way to relate to people of faith.

It is very telling that in trying to prove your case you left out the post I was responding to, and our whole discussion was about when I brought up my past and why. I said it was always in response. You didn't have the courage to cite the post I responded to.
By calling him "my buddy" you show a complete ignorance of my relationship with him. I have spent most of my time showing his poor argumentation skills and even worse grasp of logic. I am not a fan of FS. You simply aren't paying attention.

There was NO world wide flood.

Jericho is 820 feet below sea level and has NEVER been flooded.. Its also 11,000 years old.

 

Do you feel free to say it did happen, even tho there is not one speck of evidence that it did?

Yes there does exist absolute proof to debunk the notion of a worldwide flood during that time-span and we call it the worldwide geological record.

Oh well I respect the right for alternative-universe fans to indulge in their fantasies but if they are going to argue logic against logic then they have to explain why geologically based evidence is wrong in regards to the Flood Assertion but correct enough in all other areas of science to serve as predictive models. Now if they are going to bypass logic altogether then they need to stipulate what will substitute for logic . . . and if it's BELIEF alone then they have to explain why even the Catholic Church embraced logic as the basis of theological arguments early on and then included math and science [Jesuits] in a timely manner.

There is confusion and falsehood enough in the rest of your post but lets just look at this one in bold.
It is a falsehood, nonsense.
So is saying that nothing has absolutely been proved. The flood has been proved not to have happened.
But, I know your fantasy is central to your sense of self, so keep it. If you find there is a god, you will get your reward for your deceit and negligence then.
