“Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin (R) celebrated Martin Luther King Day by urging President Barack Obama to honor the civil rights leader's legacy by not "playing the race card."

The former vice presidential candidate took to her Facebook page to mark the holiday, quoting King's historic "I Have A Dream" speech.

She followed the quote with a message of her own to Obama.

"Mr. President, in honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. and all who commit to ending any racial divide, no more playing the race card," she wrote.

IMO: At best Palin is ignorant of any respect for a sitting president, or manners; at worst she is a conniving ho’ that was so entranced with her own image of becoming Vice President beside a senile, old, self-described war hero, that she still feels that she actually is a Vice President no matter who lost the election and who the current president is.

She is so busy trying to get a piece of prime time again that she will insult a current president making everyone wonder what she would have been like as a VP. Besides looking down the barrel of her gun, out drinking all the republican wimps at the bars, Palin never looked or expressed the proper protocol of a person that could take over the reins of the presidency at a moment’s notice.

She was a bad wife, (an adulterous), a bad mother (daughter became a teen mother) and a bad governor (she quit) and now is just a shopworn ex-beauty queen who is looking a little disheveled and old. After all, when you get ‘furloughed’ from Fox News, you got to be pretty bad.

Poor Sarah, her plans now of becoming a Senator and working her way up to the Presidency has vanished along with her beauty-queen/Gov. status, and alas, there is nothing left.

Will someone politely show Palin the door?

 

Somehow Ms. Palin seems to make a bigger buffoon out of herself each time she opens her yap. She is truly a growing embarrassment to her beloved Tea Party.

Was anyone thinking she would say something that would actually honor Dr. King?

Of course not. Palin exists to hate and to lob poo. From eh safety of Fox to her use of social media, thereby ensuring no one can actually rebut her, Palin seems to throw out meaningless fluff and partisan talking points to her adoring fans, who think that she is brilliant for some unknown reason.

Instead, Palin uses the day meant to honor a civil rights icon for his accomplishments to spew intellectual masturbatory fodder for her followers.

All in my wise opinion, of course.

 

That's not accurate, I'd say. She is a lessening embarrassment all the time. Now I think that Obama might be a greater embarrassment every time he opens his mouth again. You'd know best on that one, I suppose.

Using MLK to take a stab at the President is a pretty cheap shot. I like what another posted wrote, she does this from the safety of social media.

In respectful honor of the great Dr. King, it should be a strict mandatory and closed national holiday. Absolutely everything including all medical emergency service, fire service and the military should shut down. Moreover, everyone, by executive order should be required to participate in the traditional parades and services. Everyone would have a special identification card or official "ticket" to be stamped and punched to prove participation in the mandatory events -- no stamp? Okay, off to jail for you, amigos!
