21(going 22 in March). And no, women are not being destroyed. Male wages have gone down considerably(a dollar gets much less than it did even 20 years ago).
In the latest recession, jobs for men have gone down considerably. Male education is nonexistent compared to most female programs.

Pray tell, where is it in this "modern day society" where a male enjoys a comfortable form of living? Men can easily be accused of rape and even if it's false, he's damaged for life. Female sex criminals? You hardly ever hear of them .

I mean, for god sakes, in procreation where it takes two to make a baby, one has the life or death decision in her hands and the other one can meekly "ask", but that's about it.

If one believes that gay sex marriage is about equal rights, then what about the equal rights of the father? That's right, he has none.

And you want to cry to me about women? The most politically protected, and now empowered gender. The masters of America, literally.

 

I use twitter daily. I know it well enough that private, non-spam accounts are rarely suspended. It takes a village to force a certain camp to play nice.

I've seen some comments about how Sarah Palin isn't worldly enough, or even smart enough, to be second to the head of state. I agree with this claim, and without calling her any names. In fact, I actually don't recall any lefty on this site calling her anything remotely as vicious as "whore", "hooker", "sl**", or the many other names that Kincannon has called Davis.

Most disturbing is the amount of support and defense he's getting from the extreme right wing.

Last week, Huckabee said that the Republicans aren't engaged in a war on women. If this is true, they should shed the Tea Party immediately.

If the GOP has a hope in heck of winning anything in the next few years, they will take the advice of McCain, Boehner, and other GOP senior politicians who know how destructive radicalism can be.

Instead of hijacking the GOP, the TP should form their own, real, party. They won't last a year, but at least the GOP will have a chance.

 

Is she a private citizen? Is she? is she? Does she have an expectation of privacy and what she says is not newsworthy?

Why is it the Palin's blather their idiocy nonstop, yet if someone responds they are "attacking a private citizen? Does the hypocrisy know no bounds? If she is such a (*)(*)(*)(*)ing private citizen, why does she write a blog, under her own name, on a right wing religious website?

For (*)(*)(*)(*)s sake, if Palin, any of them, want to not be criticized, why not stop running there ever flapping gobs on TV? There seems to be a consistent theme in your posts, that being whatever comes out of the mouth of a Palin is gospel, and whenever anyone points to their statements as being stupid they are private citizens.

 

She's a threat. She breaks their mold and so she must therefore be destroyed.

Conservatives and Progressives are literally Hatfields and McCoys. It would be nice to have more polite discourse, but some people resort to emotional reaction too fast these days. It's literally tearing this country apart right now.

 

Yeah, it's a real shame that it's come to this. Politics is supposed to be about fighting with words, not petty insults. It's disgraceful.

Palin attacked the message (Wendy Davis' lies), not the messenger (Wendy Davis herself). Excellent form, Bristol! You have excellent potential in being a politician yourself someday, just don't quit public office like your mom did!

 

It was the Dallas Morning News who condemned Wendy Davis for her embellishments and untruths in her so-called life story. And the DMN is NO conservative newspaper. Kudos to them for at least ONCE getting something correct!!

 

That works both ways. I don't recall any Dems defending the nasty and vile things said about Sarah Palin and/or her daughter. In fact, most engaged in the rhetoric. It's just a bit hypocritical of them now.

 

I am confused, is Bristol the girl who had sex with a bunch of guys and got pregnant in high school that taught just say no to sex because of her mom. She tried to hide the pregnancy because of her mother's campaign and made the choice to have the baby (given the abortion option by her pro-life mother) and then was all over my television for years complaining that no one will leave her alone. That woman has a blog? Where she attacked a woman who is actually making a difference in the lives of people, and you are complaining because that person fired back? The right wants to say anything and wants immunity from criticism for it. Whiners.

 

So the same people who like to insult and call Bristol names are now upset because she's made a not so nice comment about someone they're rooting for? Consistency and honesty is not their stroing point.

Twitter is mainstream, and the mainstream is uncomfortable with radicalism. It turns out the GOP is too, and it seems to be starting to shed the Tea Party entirely. I'm afraid it's too little, too late to recover by 2016.
