Utter, total HogWash. Complete fantasy. You want to know where the energy went? Here's where: Because if that's not where it went, then you have two problems to explain: first, where did the energy from the atmosphere go? and second, what caused the increase in ocean heat content? So you've bought into the non-existant IPCC quote lie too? Since Hoosier can't provide an actual quote or an actual reference, I'm assuming you're just repeating his lie instead of making one up all by yourself. That doesn't excuse your behavior, though.
Now if you are a denialist you start measuring from 2006 http://www.commondreams.org/headline/2014/04/03-3
Had to give him a chance. I didn't really expect him to meet it. Yeah, and I'm guessing you think evolution is "just a theory" and gravity has been "absolutely proven". So I take it you're admitting to being a troll?
Looks like Rush & personallibertydigest has a 3 question poll on climate science. Vote now and vote often. I did! And, of course, I clicked on "unsubscribe" after the vote registered.
Nice, again you avoid to provide the data and factual information that I challenged you to present. Instead you go strawman.... again. It is silly for me to get into a debate about something outside the scope of the thread. So why don't you instead, provide the data that you claim you have to warrant your silliness. You know your topic.
It's been provided, several times, & then ignored by you. Refute the facts in the link or admit to being a troll.
All, the links and graphs do not show a cause. Show the evidence that CO2 causes temperature increase. I've told you and all of the others repeatedly, CO2 went up in the last fifteen years and the temperature did not. So, any references you have are null and void.
Untrue. CO2 is not the only forcing and the atmosphere is not the only heat sink; which you would have known had you read the articles in the links provided to you
Well excuse me, but the argument has been that man made CO2 is causing warming. So if it is not CO2, then what is it? Because you obviously have more information then the IPCC does.
No wonder you're confused. Yes, CO2 is responsible for the earth's systems retaining energy, in the form of longwave radiation, which causes an increase in the temperature of the oceans, atmosphere and soil and a melting of the ice. Other factors such as aerosols and a weakening of solar output providing less short wave radiation, reducing the warming. So instead of just 1 factor, CO2, contributing to temperature changes, (as you seem to think) there are many factors (including but not limited to the sun, the ocean, the soil albedo, aerosols) contributing to the temperature change. If CO2 goes up and aerosols go up it's possible to get a cooling effect. If CO2 goes up and solar output goes down, it's possible to get a cooling effect. Had you actually read the IPCC reports, you would have known this already
Nope, I'm not confused at all. The argument is and has been man made CO2. nothing else. Fossil Fuels our pure existence causing warming temperatures that cause extreme climate change. And we all know now that it isn't true. So nice pivot, but either you have changed your tune and now agree with us that the CO2 is not a contributer to the alarmist claim or you'e just lost.
I'm not going to debate your strawman argument. If you had read the CO2 Insignifant GHG? link you'd know you are wrong. If you had read the IPCC report you'd know you were wrong. Bottom line: the only way you can win is by making up arguments that were never made. In other words, denying reality and living in your own little, imaginary world. Hope you enjoy conversing with elves and fairies.
What strawman? I have been arguing that point the entire time I've been in this environment section of the message board. For you to suggest now, that the fairies are flying around discussing if batman exists or not. The fact is, the argument has been man made fossil fuels are causing extreme weather due to an increase of CO2.
Completely false. CO2 is the biggest anthropogenic forcing agent, but it's not the only one. There's also methane, N2O, CFC's, aerosols, and land-use changes just to name a few.
