The BLM web site had a page detailing why Bundy had to be removed.

The page was removed, but it was in the Google cache, and a copy is here:

    http://www.thewildlifenews.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/04/Northeast-Clark-County-Cattle-Trespass.pdf

Here is a part of the page:

    Cattle Trespass Impacts
Cliven Bundy has no legal authority to graze cattle on federal lands in the Gold Butte area, including Lake Mead National Recreation
Area. The U.S. District Court of Nevada has permanently enjoined Cliven Bundy's trespass grazing, ordered him to remove his
trespass cattle from public lands inside and outside the former Bunkerville Allotment (including from the Lake Mead NRA) before
December 2013, and stated the U.S. is entitled to seize and impound any cattle that have not been removed by the judicially imposed off-date and that remain in trespass. A large number of the trespass cattle on the federal lands are feral cattle that can pose a threat to members of the public recreating or traveling over the federal lands. The trespass cattle have also caused damage to private property, as well as to the federal lands and natural resources.

    {snip}

Examples of Restoration Funding and Viability Impacted

A $400,000 matching grant to restore Southwest Willow Flycatcher habitat along the Virgin River from the Walton Family
Foundation was withdrawn until the trespass cattle have been removed.

A $160,000 Southern Nevada Public Land Management Act project to restore Southwestern Willow Flycatcher has been
delayed until trespass cattle are removed.

Non-Governmental Organizations have expressed concern that the regional mitigation strategy for the Dry Lake Solar Energy
Zone utilizes Gold Butte as the location for offsite mitigation for impacts from solar development, and that those restoration
activities are not durable with the presence of trespass cattle
    .

The Nevada State Department of Wildlife has built extensive fences to protect state and federal lands protected as the
Overton Wildlife Refuge from the trespass cattle.

Thats the sweet solar deal Reid and his son are involved in.

I expect all progs who declared there was no link to the Chinese solar deals to admit they were wrong. But I know they won't admit it, progs don't care about the truth and will do anything to protect their masters.

So seize and Impound translates to shoot, run down, and bury for the BLM. I am sure those baby calves really posed a public threat. Friggen baby cows....bite your head off man!

I guess the cows somehow manage to get ahold of small arms and shoot up the place too. What do cows have against water tanks?

Bunch of crooks that need to be arrested by local LE.

So did Bundy commit a felony or misdemeanor by not removing his cattle?

Bundy is a scofflaw and a nut. Backing him is a huge mistake.

Hate on Big Fed and Dingy Harry all you like but choose another front man. Bundy is a stone loser.

Bundy may well be a loser but this has unveiled a lot of dirt on Reid and his greed and lust for power and money so it all good

I'm no advocate of Bundy and crew per-se, but of the movement and idea of pushing back against the federal/national leviathan that is just strangling us all.

Bundy may be slightly off and violating the current ruling; it needs squared and squared without force or threat of, both ways.

But, I believe the issue is much more complex then; "he didn't pay".

the issue is really that simple. when you take something not yours its theft. All the crap about an onerous federal government is just that crap. the wealth have made huge profits under Obama. The Koch brothers have doubled their wealth so try to focus on reality, not some made up rational for theft.

Al Sharpton and his entities owe the federal Government $1.5 million in back taxes, when does the IRS Agents show up at his home and businesses and seize assets to pay for that? Until you can answer that, your blanket theory holds NO water.

so how many times has Harry Reid doubled his money through unethical means ? This entire thing is all over a scheme where he and his son want to make a couple of million through a green energy scam with China.

Still can't/won't answer my question I see. So, I'll ask again.

Al Sharpton and his entities owe the federal Government $1.5 million in back taxes, when does the IRS Agents show up at his home and businesses and seize assets to pay for that? Until you can answer that, your blanket theory theft is theft holds NO water.

IMO it's not about Bundy...it's about government overreach and excessive force...Bundy is just a random variable.

Didn't Bill Clinton steal the land from Nevada in the 1990's by federalizing the land?

I think that's why Bundy refused to pay money to them.
