There is no difference othe than locale between those two photos. I don't know why anyone would threaten her, but instead someone should educate her..

Havng the American flag as a backdrop is fine, but her choice of firearm should have been a musket which would be more representative of something historically American and that bible kind of seals the deal of... "When fascism comes to America, it will be wrapped in the flag and carrying a cross". Her idea of what the USA is about is what is going really wrong with this country.

 

I disagree. While I am not a big fan of extreme organized religion of any sort (too much abuse), I see nothing grievous about people believing in the Bible...or the Koran. If you want historic, then shouldn't the lady on the right have a club or stones? What I think is going really wrong in this country is the belief of some people that the Bible is some sort of symbolic item of oppression and fascism....and the grouping of those that believe in the Bible as being equal to the extremist that use the Bible for their own agenda.

 

And is it right to condemn all of a given group over the actions of a few poisonious comments on social media? Have you really looked around social media these day. There is virtually no topic, political or otherwise that does not attract nasty comments. We have even had a thread on this forum about studies involving why such social media activity is so common.

 

Your very first word shows you're part of the problem. There are loads of idiots spouting all sorts of trash on the internet but your choice to assign that to a particular political party means you're just another one.
