Michelle Obamas Story of Racism at Target is a TALL TALE

Yep, cannot understand how some go looking for racism when there isn't any.

She used it as an example in this story:

I agree with everyone else.... there was no racism there.
Why did she bring it up then ?

 

Yeah... that was a bit of a lie. It must be "catchy".

I don't think asking her for help was what she considered racist.
I think it was where she said: "The only person to come up to me".. then mentioned the short lady.

But honestly, I don't know where racism as any place in her story.... or her story has any place in an article about racism.

Yet you sit here whining about the Right.

To me it sounds like she's saying that they are just average, everyday people.

 

Since their interview was about their own 'racist' experiences, I believe her story was intended to show 'racism' by being asked to get something for the lady...... and of course, only 1 person approached her was another 'insult'.... that must have been a rough day for MO, IF it happened, which I seriously doubt.

I guess it keeps them busy. This story of theirs keeps getting more involved by the hour. Then they offer "proof" by linking to completely irrelevant articles that also have nothing to do with race.

This thread is a hoot, and shows that the far right needs to invent reality rather than live in it. (It's safe and warm there.)

I also saw no insult in the quoted text from you. I think he's just towing hte race-baiting line in defense mode, not know what anyone is actually talking about.

 

That may be, I just took it differently when she said "the only person".

Maybe it was the cameras and numerous secret service (what she calls "just my assistant"), that kept people from making contact.

Who knows.
None of it was even racist, so I don't know why it was in the article in the first place.

He keeps mentioning some K-Mart trip in the topic of the thread..... that clearly says "Target".

The only reason anyone would do that is because they're hateful, angry and their Obama-auto-defense mode is in full gear... which we know blinds people.

Why else would he try to convince people the topic says something it doesn't ?

Michelle needs to know that it's a somewhat common occurence to be asked by someone if you can reach something for them. It happens to me at the grocery store (I'm not particularly tall) and it happens to my wife who is not tall either.

Does she REALLY think it was because she's black? If she does, I think this is a good example of how blacks mis-read the intentions of others toward them. I think so few whites are actually racist, it's ridiculous to consider! Most whites know better than to be racist, and others probably feel shame if they find themselves even TENDING to feel racist.

White people aren't bad people any more than blacks are.
