White Leader Limbaugh Befuddled By Bond

I'd personally cast her as a straight British woman, really just transfer Bond's personality traits to a female. It could be really cool with the right actress.

Lets remake The Fresh Prince of Bel Air with Daniel Radcliffe as Will.
Lets remake Roots with Ashton Kutcher as Kunta Kinte.
Malcolm X with Ben Affleck as Malcolm.
Lets remake Precious with ...well I cant think of a White actress as fat and talent-less as Gabourey Sidibe or Moo'Nique but you get where I'm going with this.

The next time we make a movie story about Jackie Robinson, or Rosa Parks, or Martin Luther King its going to be a White person in the title role.

My mistake. I thought you meant for America to make a female adaption of Bond. I still say make the female equivalent of Bond instead of just switching the gender altogether. But yeah, it could be interesting with the right actress.

Yeah, I understand the traditionalist argument, I just don't feel the same way. I like change. Bond has evolved drastically throughout the years. Its why he has managed to stay relevant. A black Bond or a female Bond wouldn't bother me at all if I thought the casting was right, and it was done well. I think it would be really ambitious, though, so it would have to be a really good movie.

On the other hand, I can respect that other Bond fans might want to see a lot of the tropes and customs preserved. But to me what matters is more Bond's personality traits than looks.

 

Please provide any and all evidence of who my leaders are and when they became so. If not then admit that you're just telling lies or are simply mistaken. And I've never made any claims about black leaders so don't try that excuse with me because it doesn't work.

The character doesn't strike me as a religious person overly concerned with the ethics of food. But I get the point of your ridiculous hyperbole. James Bond has historically been a white male. Therefore he should continue to be a white male. It's traditionalism and entirely a matter of personal taste.

I just feel when it comes to any character that you have to respect the character itself, the creator of said character, and the fans. Another example using a character I love, Channing Tatum has been announced that he's going to play Gambit from the X-men. Now I like Tatum but he's not even the right body type for the character. It can completely mess up the character for the whole film. Same with Bond or any other established character, you have to respect their history.

 

He's not a black man either, so if you are going to make a reach, make it worth while.
