I have always felt that due to the Holocaust, TRUE justice and compensation would have been one of the state of Germany becoming the Jewish state. Should this have been the solution to the Jews' suffering?
since Germany caused the Jews soo much misery, it is Germany that should have given a big chunk of their land for a Jewish state.
I think giving a chunk of Germany to the Jews would have been just, but I highly doubt that Jews at the time wanted to be anywear near Germany.
Yeah but saying that is like saying Osama Bin Laden represented all of Afghanistan and they should pay for his actions, when he was even an Afghan. Adolf Hitler was an Austrian who seized Germany and technically ran a terrorist organisation to take over the government. Saying that he represented Germany would not be 100% correct.
You might want to consider the possibility that Hitler was maybe not loved, but at least accepted as the political leader by the majority of Germans. They gladly accepted the benefits, so they'd have to accept the punishment, too.
Europe is also a much more tolerable climate, with more water. plus all the wars of the last 60 years in the Middle East would not have happened, if a Jewish state was created in Germany.
indeed, and if we got a large chunk of Germany, it would have been much safer than today's Jewish state, which is under constant threat
The threats will gradually be eliminated, with the help of the USA and Saudi Arabia, both of which are heroic countries.
a nice place to have created the Jewish state would have been in Pomerania, which is along the Baltic Sea and includes Gdansk.
The Jewish State exists in the Middle East. This is the Holy Land and where we live and will live for evermore. God Bless Israel.
This is why the IDF is so strong. It will defend Israel's borders from those who wish to terrorize us.
This was the legal borders of Germany in 1944. would have been great to have a Jewish state in East Prussia or Pomerania, as that is where millions of Jews were from.
As long we continue the settlement building programme, we will have enough room in Israel for all of our people.
That's because he was a good leader, and saying otherwise would be irresponsible. His own personal vendettas started seeping into the politics of the country, and as a result, a few sadists who had made their way to the top (Ie Heinrich Himmler), took it one step further. Before that, Hitler just didn't like certain people because, in his history, they were mean to him. Osama was probably the same. He just didn't like Americans because they had hurt him in the past, which was true. And what happened next was that a few people who joined his group egged him on, and then 9/11 happened.
