I am dissatisfied with many things in the USA.
But the news on American tv bothers me most of all. There doesn't seem to be an unbiased news outlet. I always feel like someone is pushing political opinions around instead of just telling me what happened. Or they try and over dramatize the situation by spreading all the possible deadly outcomes of everything.
I want just watching news nothing more. :wall:

The lack of investment into our decaying infrastructure. It is not sexy and it does not show immediate profit so it is ignored until a crisis.

They are trying to shove Caitlyn Jenner down our throats and if we don't like her we're transphobic or haters.
I didn't give a (*)(*)(*)(*) about Bruce Jenner why should I care about Caitlyn? She gets her own movie, documentary, Shania Twain is writng her a song and she is getting her own barbie doll and she gets an ESPY award. I've just had enough.

    1. The government fails to adhere to its own rules
    2. The people don't care enough to make them do it

Has to be one thing, right? I guess I would go with our budget / deficit. That bothers me to no end and it seems like most folks don't even really care about it.

I don't really look at any of them. They all annoy me. I use my Droid app from BBC mostly for news.

Partisan politics. People have begun treating politics like a professional sports league and root for their "team" regardless of the actions, attitudes, and behavior of those they support simply because they share a D or an R in front of their name. It's become to much about sides and scoring points instead of actually holding their leaders accountable and working to improve the quality of our politicians. It shouldn't be conservatives vs. liberals, democrats vs. republicans. It should be Americans working with Americans and constantly striving to make this a better place for all of us.

Basically the lack of it's people to learn to live with each and overcome their petty differences and bigotries so we can have a true United States of America.

    Too much power and greed.

    Too much hypocrisy.

Too much ignoring of the constitution.

And anything that has an ism in it.

Oh, and liberal, conservative, and religious intolerance of each other.

You do realize the "corporations are people" thing isn't part of that decision, right?

It's a note written in the margins of the decision by a law clerk.

    Who apparently misunderstood the decision.

As have many of our Supreme Morons since then.

Corporate personhood is a legal fiction for the purpose of legal standing in a court of law, that is all it is.

It does not mean that corporations have rights.

    Agreed.

I blame the Supreme Idiots. Their jobs have become highly politicized, and apparently NONE of them has the 'nads to stand up and do their jobs instead of the jobs their political masters want them to do.

(That is to say, they seem to be misguided, they believe that their masters are someone other than who they actually are).

While I'm no scholar in the details of the history of the Supremes, I get the feeling that perhaps they've always been politicized; it's not something that they've necessarily become.

The death of liberalism, which Clinton and the dems in congress put the nail in its coffin. Liberalism protected the average people from the insatiable greed of the rich, and now we have zero representation or protection, thrown to the wolves.

Well, let's put it this way - this present court is probably the worst we've ever had in our entire history. Worse that Scopes, worse than.... just BAD.

You wanna know how stupid these people are?

They can not distinguish money (the stuff that changes hands in a commercial transaction) from speech (the stuff that comes out of your mouth).

These Supreme Morons are so supremely stupid that they want to tell me that access to the thing equates with the thing itself.

I mean, using that logic, those Morons ought to buy me a printing press at taxpayer expense.

I can not believe that anyone who knows even the first thing about US history could be so supremely stupid.

After all, the very First national bank of the United States was denied its charter when it tried to renew. Each and every corporation in this country exists at the please of the People, and it has to obey the Peoples' rules. You don't have "rights" if you're a corporation, you don't get an extra vote just 'cause you have shares of corporate stock.

Corporations are not people, they're little pieces of paper in the state registrar's office. They're synthetic entities created by people, for one purpose and one purpose only: to make money. And as long as that activity is pleasing to the People of the United States, we will allow it to continue.

That's how it works. Morons or no morons.

The concept of corporate personhood was to define the right of the corporations to do things like keep contracts and have certain protections from people who wish to run frauds against them.

Yes, right. "Legal standing". Corporations have to be able to sue and be sued. But that's all. Beyond that, there is only the regulation of commerce.

    I am pissed off that:
-Americans are so gullible that they voted for the worst president in American history twice.
-so many Americans would give idiot criminals the benefit of the doubt over police officers.
-we are negotiating with Iran instead of bombing their nuclear facilities.
-the Air Force is trying to get rid of the A-10 without dedicated CAS aircraft replacement.
-so many teachers are trying to teach our children that they should be ashamed of America's past.
-there are so many bums out there that are willing to pretend they can't work so they can sit on their ass and collect welfare.
-some white people think that they should feel guilty for being white.
-some people think that I am racist because of my previous comment. I have immense pride in my heritage and ancestors, and anyone that thinks I should feel bad about "white privelege" can suck it. I have absolutely no problem with any other race, until they start telling me that mine is bad.

    eh, that's enough for now.

They are able to be sued, it's just an extremely difficult thing to do because of how powerful they are.
