...or face the Sanhedrin in Jerusalem. An Israeli media outlet reported last week that The Jerusalem Sanhedrin a Jewish religious High Court composed of 71 sages, has declared that it is putting Pope Francis on trial unless he retracts his statement that the Jews have no right to the land of Israel or to Jerusalem. Pope Francis crime is that he officially recognized the existence of the State of Palestine. The trial and judgment will be on September 20th, 2015. Fortunately, this leaves Pope Francis enough time to seek legal advice from Alan Dershowitz. However, if Pope Francis chooses to ignore the summons, he will be judged in absentia. The Pope may have to face the Wrath of God and his chosen tribe. Gilad: I guess that the message to Alison Weir, Pope Francis and the rest of us is clear as well as urgent - with all these Sanhedrin courts pouring their wrath on the Goyim, the time to form a Goyim Defense League (GDL) is overdue. Read all here: http://www.gilad.co.uk/writings/2015/7/15/pope-francis-alison-weir-and-the-sanhedrin --------------------------- I can't believe the Jews are serious. Why not ignore the Pope?
"The Jews" got nothing to do with this, its a self proclaimed court, a few religious nutters that decided on this nonsense, its not a real court. The real Senhadrin was destroyed with the first Temple, religious court exist today under the state rabbinical jurisdiction and it doesn't discuss anything political.
So, shaming the Pope and threatening him is not political? I would think they should be in agreement with Netanyahu and his government... otherwise it is embarrassing for the whole country.
Its not the Rabbinical court, just some weird fanatic ppl, your link says so. I don't care what you think about my country and you already know, just try to keep hyperbole to a minimum and we might actually educate each other.
It only made headline in that stupid anti Israeli site for an obvious reason, if the pope even hears about it I will fall off my chair laughing, it will be a new record in the global Israeli focus.
I am not so sure........... sometimes pleading guilty can have a positive effect. Aren't all Christians in a way like Barabbas or should I write Bar Abbas? Wasn't Barabbas/ Bar Abbas the guy who actually was guilty? Isn't that guy symbolic of all Christians........ even the Pope?
