Trump in Michigan: I Won't Let Ford Move Jobs to Mexico

What Trump said is meaningless. Is he going to force Ford to build cars in teh US? Is he going to get tax laws changed to discourage moving manufacturing overseas? Is he going to create incentives for US manufacturing jobs to stay in the US?

He doesn't say.

Any conclusions that you may draw from this empty statement is a product of your imagaination, not of any real policy proposal by Mr Trump.

 

Are you now telling me you equate teachers with government agents?
If teachers were in fact government agents they would have no need to buy their Bic pens. They would be supplied by the government at the price of $100 a piece.

Donald Trump knows business, he knows how to negotiate and you can rest assured that he will do as he says...he is a man of his word.

 

He's a big liar, part of his billions are made from slave labor in foreign countries. Why would he go against his own interests.

 

What the liberals and other assorted politically correct devotees never seem to understand is that America has always had and will always need a servant class as every advanced civilization has had throughout history......aka someone to do the dirty woik.

Now our traditional servant class due to the interference of the Federal Government was persuaded to become lackeys of the Democratic Party Plantation System.... thus the result aka.....the withering away of our traditional servant class....but the dirty woik remained to be done....somebody had to to it...but who?

The obvious answer of course is that the mexicans rushed in---to play the role of servants...and they were glad to do it. There is no going back now....the mexicans are here to stay and they will continue to do the dirty woik....but they are branching out...doing all kinds of work now....in actuality replacing our Traditional Middle Class.

So there is the rub.....we as a nation will in the future only have two classes.....the rich and the poor....the real question is what will we do about all those who have grown dependent on the Federal Government? How much longer can America afford to keep these millions of people on the dole...not even to mention their number is growing expotentially? What we see before our very eyes is the setting of the stage for a insurrection.....we see it already in a few places like ferguson....most do not get it....even the demonstraters in ferguson do not get it....they do not even understand themselves their own resentment and anger...they have focused on police shootings but it goes much deeper than that...the bottom line is they are angry ...very angry with the system. They see themselves mired in a welfare system from which they cannot escape...and they see others encroaching into their territory of government freebies.....they are beginning to understand that the system they have depended on is un-reliable...they feel threatened and they are threatened...simply because no Nation can survive very long in this world today that has grown so competetive if huge numbers of its total population do no productive work. We are getting by now only because we have been able to borrow and print money.....that federal government 'gimme bubble' is about to burst....just as the housing bubble busted. What then?

Inflation will be the first result....we have been seeing the beginning nature of that for a few years now already....it will get much,much worse.

I would prefer lower taxes and less regulations, but I also wouldn't deprive myself personally of all options. If I can use an effective mandate, I should be able to do so. Worked for Obama the clown, maybe it can work better in a much better thinker(like me).

 

He can make it a goal to limit and/or eliminate breaks that companies receive. He has discussed this multiple times in multiple settings.

 

That has the feel of reality to it.

That alone in one year would pay for the entire wall.

Let's not get started on cannabis, steroids, and pills.

Their criminals are making the money, their government needs to stop it and reimburse the US with a free wall.

Their borders, their criminals, and yet we are expected to pay for it? How about no, if they want us to build it they need to join the union and let us get rid of the problem that are the cartels.

 

Nor should we reward politicians that bring in cheap outside labor to take our jobs and keep our pay down.

 

I do not think we should make Mexico a state as some have suggested.....but we could make it a 'territory' and end the corruption, set up a functional Government.

There is no reason for Mexico to be so poor other than corruption....Mexico has abundant natural resources and lots of people willing to work very hard....they just need guidance aka a decent government.....time we stepped in and took over and improve the lives of the poor mexicans....if we did so....we would not have to worry about them streaming up here.

We shouldn't reward business that take jobs out of our country, and we also should not allow them to get away with tax breaks and sending their money in to tax havens. I would myself make this against the law as its does a disservice to us as American. I would also make it illegal to hire undocumented migrants and actually go after those that hire them in the first place now off the books stuff I wouldn't mind that much as I know some of the elderly people hire them to fix up gardens and lawns and stuff.

 

Wow, all those "conservatives" who scream about Obama being a dictator, and yet when Trump claims "he won't allow" a corporation to invest in other friendly countries for sound business reasons, as is their right, they cheer him along. Hypocrites are blind to their own hypocrisy.

Wonder when political reality and not expediency will finally bite Trump where it counts?

he has a clear plan in how to get there? Well that IS a newsflash. Besides such insightful plans as "I will repeal obamacare and replace it with something terrific" and "crush ISIS and take their oil" and "build a fence and have Mexico pay for it" and "make America great again", I have heard very little about how he actually intends to accomplish all this in the real world.

Must be by the strength of his own ego making people do what he wants them to. that might work in his world, surrounded by boot licking toadies and other egocentric financial sharks, but in the larger arena it just doesn't work like that.

I doubt he has the political acumen to maneuver around intransigent obstructionist opposition (should the democrats decided to adopt the republican strategy).
