I appreciate that he knows how to get things done; but the things he gets done are, his contractual obligations aside, for himself, as he is essentially his own boss. If he is inaugurated, however, he will be Our employee. Now I haven't heard him say word one about the supreme expression of Our will, otherwise known as the Constitution; so bearing in mind that, like Obama, he's gonna have a pen and a phone, why should We the People believe he has the temperament to properly execute Our highest office?
Trump is taking all the attention away from Cruz who is the true red blooded conservative in this race who will deliver us our liberty back.
Why do people who shout about liberty seem to be so willing to surrender it to the domogogue du jour?
I doubt Trump's going to win because of his status as a "reality TV show host" and the controversial comments he makes. Thing is I think he could make a competent President, and I really don't give a flip over whatever comments he made about "Mexicans" or "Megyn Kelly". Reality is though that he's not smart enough to realize that soundbytes over controversial things he said are going to have more sway than actual positions on issues, so I think that he'll fail for that reason alone
Trump supporters aren't smart. They're just excited he's being annoying to other politicians and disrupting the political system. Trump is just being used as a quasi V for Vendetta type where the anarchists and far right super loons get a kick out of the disruption. He has literally no chance at winning the Republican primary let alone the general election. Reminds me of the Ron Paul crowd getting excited last election.
Lol...It has everything to do with the job. You can always hire experts to advise, but the character of the leader is paramount to making things work. Trump has the character of a smug adolescent.
So does Obama. On several occasions he has shown himself to be a stubborn and petty little man. At least Trump built a fortune for himself. I do not know of very many adolescents that have built billion dollar fortunes. The difference between Trump and Obama is that Trump is the adolescent that punches out the bully while Obama is the adolescent who sits in the corner with a wedgie.
Trump did not build a fortune "for himself". He was very privileged and was given a head start by his father that very few children get (which is not a problem)... like real estate in Manhattan. That's hilarious comparing him to Obama. But any Trump fan would never have a realistic view of Obama. So it makes sense.
Lol...Your silly brain fart aside, Obama is one of the few adults left in DC and his character is light years above any of the con clown car gaggle, and Trump doesn't even reach their level for character. Heck, even idiots like Bachmann and Santorum have a better character than Trump, and that was scraping the bottom of the clown barrel last time. In reality, Trump is the anti-Obama.
I have not made up my mind about Trump yet but I doubt your claim is true. Obama is an immature adolescent and has demonstrated it on several occasions.
Saying things like "Trump is the anti-Obama" just makes me like Trump. I am trying to stay objective so stop doing that. So far I am interested in any candidate that hasn't ridden a bicycle while wearing a helmet and mom jeans. Obama is a wimpy asshat.
My claim that Trump was given real estate in Manhattan? Lmao. That's known to all. He was very privileged and his father was very wealthy. I don't care about that, but to act like he just built his fortune himself is hilarious. Anyone who was given real estate in Manhattan would be wealthy right now. Heck, he's just a more intelligent Paris Hilton. I've liked Trump as a business man my entire life, but all that respect was lost the last month. He is a clown, represents the Republican party very well.
So Donald Trump's record is a stubborn thing. He is on record in the past as being to the left of Obama and Hillary. And there is no evidence to suggest he moved to the right.
Really? Are you saying he was given 10 billion dollars? But even so it takes much to be able to manage that kind of wealth. Look at how many rich people end up broke after a few years. - - - Updated - - - That is one reason I am not sold on him just yet and I do not know if I will be.
Lmao. He's a great businessman. No doubt about that. But he started off with owning a lot of Manhattan. That makes, making wealth a lot easier for him than you and I. It's not like he was an innovator. He simply owned very expensive properties in the most robust location in the world. I'm sure you'd be wealthy too if you started off with that.
Starting off wealthy does not guarantee you will stay that way. Fortunes can be lost more easily than increased, just ask 50 cent. I doubt Trump started off as a billionaire and even with a good start it takes talent to be able to manage a grow a fortune into an even bigger fortune.
Haha, its hilarious watching you defend Trump. It's alright to say he had an advantage. His father did have a net worth of $200-300 million and Trump did start off with a company his father built and used that to earn his current wealth. Nothing wrong with that, but to act like Trump did it himself in comparison to others is hilarious. He is the definition of spoiled. And he acts like it.
Lol...Yeah, it takes a lot of talent to declare bankruptcy when you fail and then skip out on debts and your employees lose their jobs while you get to keep your personal wealth through legal shenanigans.
Where did I claim he built his fortune from scratch? I didn't. Where am I defending Trump? I am not. You seem to have a problem defending Obama though. He is supposed to be "mature" but in reality he is nothing but a small, stubborn and petty little man. No leadership there. - - - Updated - - - "Legal shenanigans"? That is quite ironic coming from someone who is probably supporting Hillary. Hahaha!
A trump fan would never consider Obama mature. Just like a gangster would never consider Bill Gates cool. So I understand your dilemma.
No, quite a lot of people do all their thinking on politics based on sound bytes. I have yet to see one conservative here (or anywhere else) criticize Trump for not having any detailed positions on issues or plans to deal with them. All we have is one liners. His website is all fundrasing and no substance. He has no real campaign organization. And the audience that puts him at the top of the polls in Iowa doesn't care at all.
