read somewhere today that some of his porn was of children as young as 6. Disgusting man.

Keep in mind, our criminal justice system is draconian compared to the more liberal countries, such as Canada, France, Sweden.... all the places the left says we should be more like, where he probably wouldn't have had jail time, but some taxpayer funded counseling sessions.

A few of his fellow students at Indiana University, prior to his fame as weight loss guru for Subway, claimed he had a penchant for pornography. None of the rumors involved child pornography however.

That in and of itself probably is not a red flag for anything, as millions consume adult pornography. It's borderline normal for young adult males to have at least seen it on occasion.

Subway probably had no clue what they were getting themselves into with this character in terms of being a pedophile, I guess he managed to cover it up for many years until his "luck" finally ran out. Now he's disgraced, soon to be divorced, and will spend time in prison. He'll be marked for life even as a free man. His life is effectively over with. I would put him on suicide watch if I were the authorities...he has all the potential to end things given the trauma involved with the ruination of one's life as they once knew it.

 

You're probably right on that. Heck people even get out after a time for Murder raps...so no doubt he will. Lets just hope those are 5 hard years.

Now that you mention it...aside from the OP having the courage to post this one, and sound off (thumbs up to him)...where are all the usual Leftwingers condemning this?

No interest at all? Almost seems like they dont care about kids having sex with adults. Longterm gameplan anyway so they dont see an issue?

 

Frankly, I don't put sleeping with 16-17 year-olds in the same category as with younger kids, as many 16-17 year-olds have already had sex, albeit not with someone more than twice their age. But looking at and condoning some of the child-porn noted is sick as hell though.

What strikes me the most is what a dumbass. He had it made for life if he kept his image normal. He could've gotten himself a network of 18-20 year-old whores, and then had his fantasies with them. Again, what a stupid jackass.

 

I've speculated on that quite a bit. I see it as an inevitable consequence of progressivism in society. Once the current crop of social issues and fetishes fail to push the envelope any further, they will need a "new frontier" to stay excited, and that will be adult-child relationships. It's already happened in Amsterdam up until the 1980's, so we know where progressivism leads to if unchecked.

That is a distinction I sort of work into my thinking on this too. I have known girls in their 16-17 range who could easily pass themselves off as in their 20's so I tend to need to see some more details in cases like that.

I haven't followed the gross details of this case too closely, but I do wonder if he had such low self-esteem that he went down a slippery slope to people who he thought would be less likely to judge him. Creepy and criminal as hell, and I think he probably got off way too light compared with many sex offenders get, but it may be he is just royally screwed in the head and went unchecked down a road he should have never been on.

 

Illegal ? Naaaah, wasnt thinking that angle...I was simply thinking about the side that seems to push sexual deviancy and gender ideas as realism and wasnt surprised that many of them werent chiming in.
