Subway's Jared Fogle pleads guilty to child porn and sex charges

If he had been a Republican personality in some way, the usual suspects would be a lot more active on this topic.

 

That's my thought. Dumbass is putting it mildly. He got rich doing basically nothing but eating and losing weight. There are a zillion hobbies he could have filled his time with. What a dumbass.

 

I'm guessing he's been fat his whole life and never got any. Once he got thinner and had money, he decided to make up for some lost time.

 

he won't go to general population because he's a well known celebrity....

 

on a side note, for all the unfortunate "sandwich artists" at Subway this week.... I feel badly for them. Because I remember the crap Wendy's employees took over the severed finger in the chili incident. "I'd like a small chili, hold the fingers, har-har-har"

I'm sure every Subway employee has heard every variation to "footlong" jokes that customers read the day before on reddit

 

Actually none of that will happen. Prisons have to protect prisoners or they can be sued, and I'm sure a good deal of Fogle's 15 millions has already gone into advance payments to lawyers who get nothing if he's killed in prison. He may have some uncomfortable confrontations even so, but he will survive.

He's lost his wife and most of a pretty sizable fortune he was lucky beyond imagining to ever get in the first place and will certainly never get back, that will have to be enough.

I cannot figure why anybody in his position would do this. He could have gone to Vegas and hired legal hookers to play dressup and nobody would have said a thing, or even been able to. I've never yet met a girl under 25 who couldn't look 10 if she wanted to. What is WRONG with people who do this?

 

I expect they'll show up once they've finished reading about his conservative politics.

There's no such thing as a "legal hooker" in Vegas. There are only a few counties in Nevada where it's legal and Las Vegas is not in one of them.

 

And you actually believe all this protection happens?

There's a lot of shady crap that goes on in prison.

 

Why do perverts like to mess with children? Is it because they feel they can control a child better than another adult? Do they have low self-esteem? What is it? I know it's not for the sexual pleasure; it has to be something else.

after my first wife, I went wild, too. I didn't do stuff like this... and I also turned it off when I met my 2nd wife. He obviously lacked that ability

 

He may have been stopped before he got his hands on a six year old. But maybe not. I'd check for his travel to places like Thailand before concluding he didn't do it. There's a great chance he did, and that's why he's pleading guilty, rather than dragging out a trial in which other victims may be discovered. I'm sure the prosecutors are satisfied with what they have now.

 

I believe that the news reports suggest at least 14 contacts with minors. They surely have the goods on him. His plea gets him 5-12 years.

 

Perhaps we need to be asking why Catholic Priests haven't condemned this. That's telling, isn't it.. hmmmm?

 

I hope he won't be in gen-pop. They'll do the same thing to him that he did to those little girls.

 

When I was 21, I used to always sneak off with a chick that favored Stacy Keibler's tall body with a face like Christine Taylor. She was always partying with us and was my former GF's best friend. Having always partied with us at pool halls and drinking, I assumed she was my age. Turned out, she was only 16. Boy I'll tell you what... She definitely knew what she was doing. Her parents knew what we were doing and never had a problem with it so I always figured, hell with it.

 

I think it's crap that celebs get special accommodations in prison because of who they are.....

No they haven't. You, like all the other allies, misinterpreted that only a gay homophile would molest a child of the same sex. That's your problem to get straightened out on your own, not mine. I was there for the entire thread. It was said several times that heterophiles diddle on children of the opposite sex. Both are equally sick.
