    But the progressives of Oregon put up "Gun Free Zone" signs throughout the campus. How come it didn't stop the shooter ?

    that's not a fair questoin. Take for instance, Columbine. It was in a gun free zone... therefore eliminating the chance of an armed citizen stopping them.

    Another mass shooting in a Gun Free Zone
    how many more Gun Free Zone massing shootings need to happen before you gun >>RULE 3<<< come to the common sense realization that all Gun Free Zones prevent is keeping guns out of the hands of law abiding citizens. prevents them their own protection. does nothing but make them sitting ducks

    Well most people are law abiding and they follow the rules of gun free zones.
    But criminals or nuts just cant wrap their minds around those rules.

    More proof that "gun free zones" do not work.

    Allow law abiding students who have a CCW permit to carry on campus so to prevent this type of incidents.

    What is not fair is your statement. There have been armed citizens who have stopped shooters, therefore there was no mass shooting.

    But your's is the anti-gunner's false claim. According to the DOJ, the mere presence of a firearm prevents a million felonies a year. But, since nothing happened, you claim those don't count. Same with not counting instances of armed people stopping a shooter from turning something into a mass shooting doesn't count either.

    The answer is that only nine have been stopped by a citizen with a gun. Of the 71 shootings in the US 75%, or about 53 were committed using a legally owned gun.

    So the proliferation of legally owned guns in the US means that a legally owned gun is about five times more likely to be used to commit a mass shooting than to stop one.

    The story has a happy ending. The shooter is alive and well. No unethical murder for murder or vigilante self defense. Everyone complied with the law to not defend themselves and to rely solely on government. This is every person's duty, to voluntarily be a victim for the better good of all.

    You have more legal carry permits than anywhere in the world, yet you have more mass shootings by far than anywhere else. So legal carries are not preventing mass shootings in the US.

    There is only 1 universal truth to all 71 shootings you cite. Everyone murdered was unarmed and unable to defend themselves - or anyone else. The certainty of what is statistically proven to not be killed in a mass shooting is to have a firearm.

    Again you are deceptive. Mass shooters are picking locations where firearms are prohibited for the most part. Schools, colleges and businesses with "no firearms" signs.

    There's never been a mass shooting at a gun show, has there?

    We have more guns, and more people willing to use them criminally.

    You don't know that legal carries aren't preventing any mass murders... shouldn't pretend you do.

    Wasn't there a guy last year running around some food factory, beheading one person then starting on his second as he got shot by an armed onlooker?

    While some were shouting Islmaphobe! at the shooter... others were thanking him for stopping a mass murder.
