Just as a matter of interest, the Chicago Skyline illustration here is taken almost verbatim from "Fads and Fallacies in the Name of Science", the standard reference on pseudo-sciences of the 1950's. I forget which chapter and what set of Flat Earth Beliefs it was illustrative of but I am certain I saw it there.

Infrared light also produces mirages. Infrared is simply light of a spectrum that has a wavelength just longer than red light. Any kind of effects that light produces are also produced in the infrared spectrum.

I've flown over the Atlantic twice, over the states another 5 times. I personally know for a fact that the "curvature" you were programmed to believe you saw is not visible, ever, and simply does not exist.

 

Big Science more often than not completely ignores the Scientific Method. I know this because I do "study science". Your fear compels you to claim I'm paranoid because you don't understand what it's like to think for yourself. I'm far from paranoid, bro. I simply look at tons of data and make highly informed conclusions from that data. Maybe that means I am actually smarter than most people on here, but I never claimed such a thing.

WW2 might have happened but according to several historians, it was nothing like what the corporately controlled media said.

The Jews who once claimed to have been victims of some alleged holocaust have redacted most of their claims during U.N. hearings, so you can take that for what it's worth.

People who think they've seen a curvature because NASA showed it to them arent in on some "conspiracy". They're just misinformed.

When NASA makes their ridiculous claims, its not scientific. Nothing they do in "space" is repeatable, and therefore CANNOT be considered "fact". The Scientific Method requires that any Theory proposed can only be considered legitimate if its results are repeatable.

You're dismissing reams of data to claim that NASA (alone? what about other space agencies and private companies?) are making false claims. For crying out loud, the roundness of the Earth was tested by an ancient Greek man who enlisted some help to measure shadows at different latitudes at the same time of day, and then used those measurements to find the Earth's circumference mathematically. The refraction correction there is interesting. The tangential math isn't hard to calculate, but the refraction effects are dependent upon temperature. I might have to buy the book just to see how they thought that out.

FACT: if you are near the Equator, the Sun rises and sets exactly one hour later or earlier, as you move West or East 1,035 miles.

this is a fact that no one can deny.

but if you are near Winnepeg, Canada, the Sun rises and sets one hour earlier or later, based on a distance of 675 miles.

proving the Earth is round.

How can you know there's a Winnipeg, or an Equator? Have ever been to either one. If so, are you sure they weren't all actors and signs made up to fool you. On a ship you have to dress up and act silly, this is so you wont' notice that there's NO LINE IN THE WATER., none at all. Incontrovertible mathematical PROOF I tells ya.

Time zones are fake. They were created in the 19th century for the railroads. They were created because at one time, every town pretty much had it's own time zone (based on noon as when the sun was directly overhead at that point). My "noon" is at 11:30 am now.

Archimedes and Plato are fictional characters, made up by the God-State. They cannot be proven to have ever existed. Research it and find out for yourself that the oldest known reference to them that exists in literature comes from the 1600s.

That is the tilt of Earth - it has NOTHING to do with the fact the Earth is round...

If the Earth wasn't tilted at 23 degrees you wouldn't have "time zones"...

If you'd take the time and look at the Flat Earth model, all your simple questions would be answered. The North Pole is at the center. The sun travels overhead in a circle. Any further questions that this concept will no doubt raise in your mind can then be explained by the Laws of Perspective, which most people learn about in high school, often even in Elementary school art classes.

 

Interesting side note=

The earth allegedly tilts or deviates 23.4° off of a perfectly upright 90° axis.

Guess what!?!?

90 - 23.4 = 66.6

Interesting little coincidence there, wouldn't you say?

so they created 24 time zones, each 1350 miles long at the equator.

the axis is irrelevent to time zones.

 

Sure if you wanted "time zones", however they would have no connection with daylight or season...

Time zones wouldn't make any sense..

Sorry for rounding the tilt - I find completely accurate obnoxious so I'm not (because I don't want to be - that or I'm rounding for the sake of it)..

I don't think you fully understand this simple math idea - or are accounting for the earths tilt, rotation and revolution around the sun...
