I have my gripes with the pampered millennials that seem to feel so entitled but on this one they are right. They are very unimpressed with Hillary and may cost her the nomination. "Clinton's equivocating has long aroused suspicion. The firebrand feminist writer and academic Camille Paglia wrote in an email to The Daily Beast that "Hillary Clinton's feminism is a fraud. She rode her husband's coattails to wealth and power, and she has amorally colluded in the vilification and destruction of female victims of her husband's serial abuse." [...] bluestockings, a feminist multimedia publication, declined to be interviewed by The Daily Beast, explaining via email that they would "rather not expend energy discussing Clinton or her superficial, actively anti-intersectional, and carceral definition of and approach to feminism" http://theweek.com/articles/590552/inside-hillary-clintons-army-millennial-women
Sanders has more appeal to millineal women than Hillary does. women are pretty good at recognizing wickedness in other women. More so than men.
Yep.....that's the word going around. Millennials aren't breaking Hillary's way. Plus now some of the older feminists are breaking from her. She has problems with the male vote across all Demographics. Not much support coming out of the military. Plus Independent women think she is untrustworthy, lies and will do anything to get power. Then with the serious recent news over her emails coming out and then FBI expanding their investigation to corruption with the Clinton Foundation and her Time at State. She and her Team are having a hard time ignoring it.
Seen the "crowds" Hillary has been generating lately? She is losing a lot more than just the millennial women
I do not see how anyone can support Hillary. I gave her a chance and considered supporting her a while back but she did not earn my support.
What's with Hillary wrapping herself in Obama's banner lately? Everyone in the universe knows they can't stand each other. Does she hope to carry the black vote by doing this, or what?
Heya P. Yep. Why Bernie Sanders Still Doesn’t Pose a Critical Threat to Hillary Clinton..... The Vermont senator may be surging, but black Democrats are her firewall. But the rapid rise of Sanders—and the pointed attacks from Clinton—obscure the extent to which the overall state of the race hasn’t changed. Clinton is still the favorite for the nomination, even as her path gets a little rockier and a little more difficult. And the reason isn’t hard to understand. Take the recent Monmouth University poll of the Democratic race. Between December and January, Clinton lost her lead with white Democrats. Indeed, it vanished, dropping 23 points. Now, she’s tied with Sanders, 43 percent to 43 percent. But she’s grown her lead with black and Latino Democrats, winning 71 percent to 21 percent for the Vermont senator, up from 61 percent in January. This lead with black and Latino Democrats isn’t just responsible for Clinton’s margin in national polling—where she outpaces Sanders by an average of 13 points—it’s responsible for her massive lead in the South Carolina primary, where black voters predominate and where Clinton crushes Sanders with an average margin of 40 points (although there’s been little polling in the state since the new year). Which gets to a broader, more important point. Minority voters—and black Americans in particular—are the firewall for Clinton’s candidacy and the Democratic establishment writ large. As long as Clinton holds her lead with black Democrats, she’s tough (if not impossible) to beat in delegate-rich states like New York, New Jersey, Illinois, Ohio, and Texas. Even with momentum from wins in Iowa and New Hampshire, it’s hard to see how Sanders overcomes Clinton’s massive advantage with this part of the party’s electorate . That’s not to say he won’t excel as an insurgent candidate, but that—barring a seismic shift among black Democrats, as well as Latinos—his coalition won’t overcome her coalition......snip~ http://www.slate.com/articles/news_...crats_will_save_her_campaign_from_bernie.html
Also when a politician will say anything to get a vote . Hil LIAR y position on most issues has flip-flopped so many times it makes most dizzy !
Isn't Sanders leading by something like 20 points when polling people under 30? It should scare the right wingers. You future looks social democratic.
Desperation. The Cankle knows her (*)(*)(*)(*) is weak. All the bull(*)(*)(*)(*) lies she has told for years are probably getting pretty heavy to carry. - - - Updated - - - Na, this ain't Europe.
Hillary Clinton angers Iowa fans who waited hours for five-minute speech Demi Lovato endorses Hillary Clinton, saying the Democratic candidate embodies ‘women empowerment’. It was like a political commercial,” said Allison Steigerwald, a 24-year-old graduate student at the university. “I thought she was saying goodbye to Demi and then she’d start her speech. But it never happened.” “It was very short,” said Jennifer Marks, 22. “There were a lot of statements. Like: ‘We are we going to make things happen.’” Marks said. “No actual how.” “I was like: ‘Is this done already?’” said Maggie Dressel, 21. “It did seem pretty short.” Nicole Hall, also 21, and a senior at the university, echoed Dressel’s comments. “It was shorter than I expected,” Hall said. “I’m not sure she said enough to convince me to vote for her.” http://www.theguardian.com/us-news/...-fans-who-waited-hours-for-five-minute-speech No money no talk.
My generation supports Bernie, hands down! We never received the benefits of capitalism, so now we have to ensure our prosperity and economic safety with social democracy.
She is trying to duck questions about her emails and server. About the investigations. IGs and FBI. She comes in and speaks at people and then hurries out. Even her own hand picked press corp is bored and want to ask questions. But so far its stick to the script.
Be honest for once. You don't see how anyone could support ANY Democrat...ever - - - Updated - - - And if Bernie doesn't win the nomination will you hand government over to Republicans? That would be incredibly stupid
We won't hand anything to anyone, but if we aren't listened to, many of us will vote third party. If you want to avoid that scenario, let's get Bernie the nomination.
over any stinking kon you can name, all day work it! she's busy kicking the crap out of kons then be ready to jump in the nearest coffin if you're that young and dumb because that will be the extent of your future, this the most critical election ever, bank on it
Haha, come on that's fear mongering! Hillary is (economically) the same as any moderate Republican, so we know what we will get with her. She is also a liar and has proven to be in bed with the ultra wealthy. She won't do anything for us. Let's just vote for Bernie and give him the nomination so we can all get excited and turn out! Every election people say it's the most critical
Hillary excels even the GOP in her ability to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. A few more events like that and Sanders might just pull this thing off nationally. A good thing in my opinion since I think the Dems need to hit the reset button and make Jim Web head of the DNC and hope for a good 2018 and 2020.
wake up, kid, this is no f'n joke of course it's Sanders, but if you help hand this to those who've been snuffing out your future you'll rue the day you laffed at this, it's no fear mongering, it's the real deal, the last few elections have indeed been the most critical and we're just lucky we've gotten a reprieve after 8+ years of fallow opportunities to flip the scotus. don't be stupid if you really care, this is it, convince your friends!
I'm not a kid, I'm 28 please show some respect. I understand this election is important, I am not making light of it, I am just saying that if my generations concerns are not addressed (which they aren't with Hillary), you cannot expect us to vote for a candidate. I don't buy the argument "well Republicans!!!!!! vote for a moderate conservative because Republicans!!". That may have worked in the past but it won't work in the internet age. - - - Updated - - - LOL, cankles?????
no disrespect, but trust me, at 28 you're still a kid, you simply haven't been around long to be paying sufficient attention to what's been happening in real time, it's mostly retrospective and from what you've heard, and then there's your responses that tell it plainly. voting for Clinton is a far 2nd best scenario but it's a life saver for this country and your generation, we've left you a real mess and this is our only way to apologize for allowing it to happen, please take heed
I don't think Hillary will do anything for my generation. She is obviously in bed with the banks, wall street, and the wealthy political class. Tell me what will she do for my generation to help get us out of the Reaganomics hole we were born into? And why can't Democrats just have Bernie be the nominee again?
