Except that was Bill Clinton's and Al Gore's idea. Donald Trump is only making an empty promises (does he make any other kind). He's telling this drooling psycophants that same smoke and mirrors that every GOP candidate does. You can have it all, you don't have to pay for it.
he is going to bring the jobs home... end foreign outsourcing, every job brought back home is a new tax payer... that is how .
Yay, another welfare program. Yipppeeeeeee. I really hope that I can give anther 12.4% of my earnings to government for my entire life for zero return what so ever. GREAT IDEA!
I would agree to paying the rest of my life if my daughters could opt out. I don't want a penny back if you let my daughters out of this sham. Of course, I will not get a penny and they will bleed my children dry as well, but hey, we don't actually want to shape society through bad consequences from bad decisions.
And how do you do that, one may legitimately ask? Sounds a lot like direct government intervention in individual corporate strategies. Are you familiar with the term fascism? I find it rather interesting that an eminent capitalist like Trump, would advocate for such restrictions in the free marketplace. Not very republican of him, wot? - - - Updated - - - I find it interesting that the right's "response" to the dreaded scourge of socialism is fascistic.
Clinton owned NAFTA. Or are you under the opinion that Bush did not own Iraq because the dems voted for it?
same way we make speed limits for the roads, just cause your car can do 200mph doesn't mean your allowed too as it harms society if the right and left care about America, they will find a way to bring those jobs home, maybe end all tax cuts for corps that outsource jobs raise the tax rate to 50% and give 25% tax cut to those that do not outsource, many ways to address .
And cost of living here will skyrocket which will mostly hurt middle-to-lower income families. Is that what you want?
Yeah, let's totally ignore the massive support that NAFTA had from the Republican Congress. It totally wasn't championed by the arch-conservative Republican Gingrich or anything.
then we raise wages.... leave it to the right to try to defend corporate greed the rich do not want inflation as inflation hurts the rich, not the poor, the poor have no savings to be effected by the inflation for those Americans in debt, inflation is great as your debt actually reduces as inflation raises the wages .
There were democrats who actually voted no, for one. They voted for it against the will of the majority of democrats for two. And for three, the AUMF was not a binding law. It did not force Bush to take any action. He chose to act. NAFTA changed US laws the instant it was signed with overwhelming Republican support.
They are as responsible for it as Bush and Republicans were. But in the end, the go/no go was on Bush and he chose go. But nice try at deflecting from the Republican NAFTA.
Raise it to what? I'll agree and I'd means test benefits. However, I think it will take a two or three tiered age range depending on the type of work done through life. A manual laborer or someone who's work is physical cannot be realistically productive much past 60. Cheers Labour
I believe Trump wants to go the other way. Reducing domestic corporate tax rates, reduce regulations that make us less competitive, etc.
That's a great point which i should have addressed. The only problem i see is that some jobs are going to fall into a grey area as to "manual labor".
He should cut the military budget by 90%. That would help to pay for the domestic programs for jobs. Then he should tax the wealthy 1,000%
And that's a fantasy land mentality. In order to grow out of it you first must downsize government greatly to get government's boot off the necks of businesses/people.
