Salon writer admits he's a pedophile

WHy would it not be if that Pedophile has never harmed a child and wishes to control that inside them? Is mental illness something to be condemned or should we not applaud those that realize they have a problem and support them in controlling it?

 

I think it's only a problem if they act on it. I don't think people can control who they lust for. They are what they are. It's a mental disorder. As long as they realize they can't get what they want if it's not with an adult who give consent. If they go through life without harming anybody or supporting the harm of others then they can be productive members of society and deserve respect.

I recall a basketball team owner who expressed his personal views on Blacks to his girlfriend, PRIVATELY, and was subsequently forced to sell his team.
