Well, there goes Newt's shot at "First Mate of the Titanic"....Trump won't reward disloyalty.

Hilariously, if you go over to "Trumpbart" (aka Breitbart)....same guys who LOVED Newt when he was singing Trump's praises....are now...naturally...calling him a "RINO" a "traitor" a "Bush flunkie" and of course "part of the New World Order/Globalists"

I think Newt is smart enough to realize that Trump isn't going to "start acting Presidential"...and the trajectory of his campaign for President.

And he wants to change his image from a Trump booster to a "I KNEW this would happen" guy on Election Night.

Trump isn't going to change. He's going to continue dividing and fear mongering, while pandering to the far right with the worthless rhetoric that, "Hillary should be put in prison," or "Talk about lying, crooked Hillary." That rhetoric serves no purpose whatsoever. Trump is playing on emotion, and will continue playing on emotion over ideology, until election night.

He's right. Endorsing Trumps comments are wholly Un-American.

Trump's comments about Hillary's foreign policy speech were hilarious...unintentionally so, I mean.

He basically said "Hillary should be in jail for giving that speech." Apparently Trump's awareness of the 1st Amendment is a bit lacking. :)

Hillary owned Trump in that speech. I think Hillary just found out what will trump the Donald.

Trump thinks Hispanic and Muslim judges are unqualified to hear any of his cases.

70% of defeating Trump for Hillary........is just letting Trump speak or Tweet. Gingrich sees it, so do Ryan, McConnell, even Rinsed Pubis.

He is NOT going to "start acting more Presidential" now that he's their Nominee. And in less than 8 weeks?....they'll be stuck with him to November.

    Unless......................???? :)

Being against La Raza is "un-American"?.. What a bizarro world twist of logic!

    - - - Updated - - -

You do know not every Hispanic supports La Raza right?

    Trump never mentioned "La Raza".

he just keeps mentioning he's Hispanic and Mexican.

he also said a Muslim judge would also not do.

    Smartest thing Newt ever did.

I have a whole new respect for Newt.

The RWNJ echo chamber is already coming to grips with Trump's inevitable loss, and is looking for an early scapegoat candidate.

Okay, I'll try this...and see if you understand it...

La Raza Lawyer's Association....is NOT associated with National Council on La Raza.

Your talking point from Fox or Hannity...is flawed.

its possible, that Trump may force the GOP to lose the election...but save their soul.

Newt did the right thing. More GOPers need to condemn Trump's remarks about nukes, Muslims, Hispanics, etc etc

Then his lawyers should motion to dismiss him. They aren't, and instead... Mr. Trump's argument is centered on "I'm being treated unfairly because I want to build a wall... he's a Mexican."

Not because of La Raza. Because he's building a wall. He repeated it many times, and you don't get to ignore it. That is allegation of bias on grounds of an American citizen's ethnicity. It is completely and wholly Un-American. Deal with it.

It's been WEEKS now that smart, SANE Republicans have been on TV BEGGING Trump to start acting like an adult....and not a Thin-Skinned Man-Baby who's still pandering to racists and xenophobes like he's still in the GOP Primaries....

and fortunately....Trump is ignoring them. The Trump Cultists LOVE it.....so do Democrats. :)

He still thinks he is in a room with a bunch of uneducated angry white guys.

The electorate in the General election is much more diverse and complex.

    He missed that memo.

Trying to use the same angry white guy strategy in a General election? :roflol:

A Republican strategist noted on "The Hill"....even IF you somehow stopped all immigration today?....the Latino vote (legal voters) will hit 20% in the next decade...

and if the GOP is the "Party of Trump" (and his comments about a man born in Indiana, to parents who were citizens.....citizens BEFORE Trump's own mother was a citizen)?....

it'll go the way of the Whigs.

Seems to have worked so far, certainly better for him than the fear mongering and divisive playing on emotions in which Clinton and Sanders have engaged.

Okay, Mr. "Education".....True or False.....La Raza Lawyers' Association is NOT part of National Council of La Raza?

    Were you ignorant of that?

    - - - Updated - - -

Yes....in the GOP Primaries....not with the general electorate. And especially not with women, not with blacks, not with Latinos.

    So is Gingrich obsessed?

BTW, the fact you MUST defend Trump....on all occasions?....speaks more to your obsession with him......i.e. "cult-like."

    - - - Updated - - -

But he's a STUPID one.....the GOP Primaries are over. He's locked up the racist Right.....yet he's still pandering to them and ruining himself with the general electorate....

even ruining himself with his fellow Republicans.

Trump needs to win the USA, not just Republicans.

if he was smart, he would moderate his tone. But he hasn't.

he's acting like he's still just running for the Bubba vote

Trump should have never interjected an issue into the news cycle that takes away from the State Department Inspector General Report that slammed Clinton. It was a tactical mistake. He threw Hillary a life preserver.
