http://www.orlandosentinel.com/news/breaking-news/os-man-shoots-teens-pokemon-go-20160716-story.html So this man decides to shoot at a moving car that was parked on a public road. This man should have his guns taken away permanently and should be charged with attempted man slaughter. He shot several times at a moving car at night. Just by luck no one died. No doubt, this man thinks that he is a responsible gun owner. And how is it being reported at the moment - like a joke with the police issuing advice to pokemon players to be careful!
He was clearly irresponsible, if all is as you portray it. Is that clearly defined point the whole purpose of your thread? Really? Yes. Some people are irresponsible. Next earth shattering revelation, please.
The vehicle sped towards him and he moved out of its path. He then fired rounds at the vehicle because he said it "was attempting to strike him," Troiano said. While he did make a poor assumption from the get go i notice you didnt mention this part... Yes the vehicle was moving... AT HIM.
Yet he hit the rear tyre! Must have magic bullets I'm quite sure if I was the driver late at night and someone then stood in front of my car and had a gun pointing at me, I would speed off too as quickly as possible!
There is a right to bear arms until someone shows that they can't handle that responsibility. This man needs to go to jail for a long, long time. Hopefully for the rest of his life.
Are you wanting to deny thus one Anus Hole ,s right to bear arms because he misused a gun or are you trying to deny my fight to a gun but I gave not misused my guns?
Hopefully the kids will think twice about parking in front of people's houses playing Pokemon at 1:30 in the morning. I'm not excusing the man though
A moving car that was also parked? Must be one of those new green-tech features. Side note Pokemon Go is a plague, you don't sit outside peoples homes late in the night to play video games. Idiot kids asked for trouble and got it.
And this is how this news item is being reported. It is like a "final news story" that is added to news broadcasts to fill up the last few seconds allocated. Like a bit of humor - - - Updated - - - "Was" is the past tense of "is"!
I think he should be charged with whatever applicable violations of local law he has committed, though his personal history always plays a part in these things. Discharging his gun in a reckless and possibly criminal manner seems appropriate (depending on whether or not he can convince a judge that he feared for his safety). It's really not up to me.
Well it's not humorous. I certainly wouldn't want my kids playing Pokemon in front of people's houses at 1:30 in the morning for this very reason. So I can see why they would warn kids of the dangers of doing this.
Why do both sides get so snarky about stories like these? Have you every considered that part of the problem is people with extreme unwavering views that post comments leading to petty squabbles instead of any form of constructive conversation?
