The Keep (1983). You will recognize some (young) faces in this one. The music is very ethereal, by Tangerine Dreams. I used to have it on VHS but got rid of them all to replace with dvd's and never re purchased it. I cannot find it on youtube as a full length movie, and most scenes are very grainy, but I did find this one that is much better but unfortunately, is not the whole movie. However, it will give you the gist of what it is about in two parts. This one has has more info, semi good quality. The Last Samurai, starring Tom Cruise, I think is underrated. I think Cruise was at his best in this movie and is excellent viewing for those who like him or any type of action movie....
The Last Samurai was a great flick. Loved it. Everyone seemed to hate Water World too, with kevin Costner. I liked it. Dennis Hopper cracked me up.
I nominate Near Dark, a vampire movie from the 80's that wasn't campy at all. Great Flick!
"The Right Stuff"....at the time, it was believed it would help John Glenn in his 1984 Presidential campaign. Thing is....it actually could have helped Chuck Yeager win...
Wolf, with Jack Nicholson.
Vampires, with James Woods
Highlander, 1986. Clancy Brown rocked The Kurgan, lol. I'm gonna stick him in UNDER appreciated actors.
The prophetic "Pod People"... in which the line is uttered... "Trumpy, you can do magic things!"
The first Highlander movie was, in my opinion, a classic. However each sequel was a horrible mess. It ruined the whole idea.
Idiocracy. Seriously its a good movie and with a positive political message in that the common people knew they were not smart and didn't know that much so when the smartest people in the world with IQs of 100 showed up they gave them positions of authority. And subtle other messages.
