There is reason for pause. Online polls can oversample, and I imagine they usually oversample whites, but even after controlling for that there is a large difference. I wouldn't be shocked if the "truth" was that he has a couple more than the live polls, but I really doubt that the "truth" lies in the +9 in the online polls.

 

Why am I not in the least bit surprised that Tr(oll)mp would be doing 3-9% better amongst this demographic?

However that demographic does not represent the entire nation.

Well, like I say, we haven't seen the inevitable abortion scare ads yet. But I have always predicted that after X decades of Roe v Wade not being threatened in any material way whatsoever, the abortion fear mongering of the left would start slipping in influence over women, and also, women would -grow up- and start voting on the totality of issues instead of just identity politics. There -may be- signs of women pulling a chair to the adult table, and it is damn disappointing that it has taken so long from what are supposedly "equal," "independent" adults, but it's good to see -some- progress no matter how slow.

MSM constantly blowing sunshine up women's asses in the name of marketing to those who hold 80% of the spending power hasn't helped any. Like blacks, I don't think women as a whole bloc are more myopically self-absorbed politically than anyone else, they have just been subject to a decades long, systematic victimology marketing campaign in a market of ideas that was until recently narrowly controlled by the left.

Many GOP women (regardless of public stance) are going to vote for Hillary in the privacy of the booth.

You are seeing class warfare(or at least, a protracted version of it) through men vs women, black vs white, straight vs gay. What, ya don't think there's gay millionaires? The reality is that class warfare is always destructive, ends up leading to anarchy and the destruction of the economy and tighter controls end up being the result.

 

I am sure the predictable dishonest media is already working on some phony polls showing Hillary with a "bounce" after the convention. They are so in the tank for Hillary. I will go ahead and predict the media will release polls in the coming weeks showing Hillary ahead, but they are phony.

People sort of thought the opposite would happen to Obama. That they claimed they would support Obama to seem tolerant, but then change their mind because of racism. In reality, the election results did not show a significant decrease in support for Obama. In 2008 polling averages towards the end were +7.6%, very close to the actual +7.3%

This pollster does not seem to understand scientific polls versus online polls. Anonymous online surveys are not as accurate because they don't take a representative sample of registered or likely voters. Much like if we do a poll on this forum - Trump overwhelmingly wins. The reason is that people who want to complain about liberals are attracted to this forum, but that is not representative of the whole population that is likely to vote. Why would people care what some random voice on the phone thinks? The biggest x-factor is if the candidates can make normally unlikely voters become voters, or likely voters stay home. That's the importance of the ground game, and the danger of complacency.

 

Women recognize strong, successful males. Younger women tend to vote for property (they don't have it so they advocate redistributionist policies), but married women increasingly vote for Republican/Conservative candidates.

And it seems many women are tired of the metrosexual, limp wristed antics of Obama.
