Fox News Launches Defense of the White Supremacist ‘Atl-Right’ Ideology


"The alt-right is using the same tactics that the left has used for generations now, basically fighting fire with fire."



“You have probably heard the term ‘alt-right’ by now. The Trump hiring of Breitbart’s Steve Bannon has really brought them to attention. Alt-right stands for ‘alternative right,’ and is so a bit of a misnomer, as they’re not really a viable alternative in any place anyone but crazy white people want to live. You know, like the Third Reich.

It is the political ideology that claims “white identity” is under attack, that on twitter, taunts progressives and establishment conservatives alike, calling one “sh*tlibs” and the other, “c*ckservatives.” Yes. They’re angry. They’re white. And they have rallied around Trump.

It is in the news that Hillary Clinton is about to take the offensive against Donald Trump’s association with this diffuse group of extremists. Breitbart says “Some — mostly Establishment types — insist it’s little more than a vehicle for the worst dregs of human society: anti-Semites, white supremacists, and other members of the Stormfront set. They’re wrong.”

Actually they’re right. And Fox News’ mealy-mouthed and disingenuous defense of the alt-right shows they know it.

That Fox News has now aligned itself with the alt-right is really not a reach given Fox’s past behavior. They’re responsible for bringing these extremists into the spotlight in the first place, after all, and bringing their fringe hate-mongering into the mainstream…………………….

I saw Steve "the D*uche" Doucy interviewing a political analyst* this morning on "Fox & Fiends"**....

as much as a "happy face" as she tried to put on Trump's numbers....she couldn't help but say that he was losing Battleground States....not even "holding his own" or "status quo"....but GOING DOWN in Battlegrounds.

Doucy had this "Jack Nicholson 'Joker' rictus smile" on his face, but you could see the "Oh f**k!" look in his eyes. It was hilarious.

I just want to publicly go on record and say how utterly disgusting White-Supremacists, or call them alt-Right or Racialists or whatever you want, are. In fact, any of racism is just disgusting and should have no part or parcel in our political process and yet, sadly, since the inception of our Republic, it has. Only, never has a presidential nominee so willingly embraced such intense, pervasive, all-encompassing racism and bigotry as Trump does, and he does it so friggin nonchalantly, it is just amazing.

I mean, Racialists promote a hateful, murderous ideology that is poison for our entire world. They have no place in any political party or in any political debate. They deserve only two things: to be ignored and to be punished harshly when they break the law. And I am well aware that there is also a small contingent of Racialists within the Democratic Party as well - maybe a handfull, but they need to go as well.

And no, Trumpists, La Raza is not a like the Alt-Right.

2016 will go on record as the year where the basest, ugliest and most vile of ideologies and their applications thereof were not only laid bare for the world to see, they were tacitly accepted by a pretty large, ignorant swath of our population. But not enough for Trump to win, I am quite sure.

He really is a jerk.

 

Again, Political Forum "Rules" don't allow you to even use the word "racist" even generically about Trump supporters.


So from now on, just call them "Alt Right". Which unless PF is openly biased in favor of rightwing posters....doesn't violate "the Rules."
