What do you recall about 9/11? I was in my early 20's.

 

Margot, I was watching Good Morning America when the first plane hit.... Americans thought it was some freak accident.... That it was an attack never occurred to us... I'm 40 and 9/11 was the only attack from foreigners on US turf in my entire life. When the second plane hit, I could hardly breathe. Live coverage showed people jumping out of windows to escape the flames...
When the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor, Truman...a democrat ordered a secret mission to drop the A bomb on Nagasaki and Hiroshima...We have been in the ME for decades....We will be there until the crude runs dry.

 

They pulled this one out from their playbook during the Bush era. So what else can a group do? They see that the illegal and criminal acts they've committed is beginning to catch up to them. Progressives are becoming antsy and desperate when day after day another unethical or criminal act committed by Hillary or Bill is exposed.

 

Perhaps I can try to unify some things here.
Hitler used the hatred of Jews that was nearly universal in Germany to gather support.
Trump is using the fear and distrust of Arabs that is common in the US plus the dormant dislike of immigrants (especially from Mexico) to raise support.
Has Trump said anything that will make Jews believe he is on his longer list of enemies that need to be eliminated?
If not, then Jews who warn about Hitler-like tendencies are not directly worried about themselves as Mexican-Americans and Arab Americans are.
I'm trying to get African Americans and naturalized immigrants worried because I think they're next on his hate list.
I'm comparing him to Caligula.
The cause of 9/11 starts in 1954 when we first changed the regime in Iran. 2 things have always worried the Middle East since then.
We're so big and strong we can get away with meddling with foreign governments anywhere.
As white Christians we still consider ourselves the successors of Charlemagne and the Crusaders and might try to wipe all of Islam out.
Since Russia is no longer an atheist country and not a rival at the moment to world domination, the Arab world is the biggest enemy of the US.
We don't know where one country begins or ends and in the mind of Muslims there is no border between neighboring Muslim states.

There may be some truth to that. Trump HAS suggested we "round people up" and deport them en masse. He has also said the USA should embrace widespread religious discrimination and even force Muslims to wear identification, just like the Nazis did with Jews.

I do think that if Hitler himself came back there would be lots of American conservatives saying "oh, he's not that bad" and invoking " Godwin's law" about him.

If you're like Hitler that should be pointed out. If your movement resembles Naziism that is a legitimate thing that people should know about it
