Yeah, about Obama's popularity, and how beloved he was. http://www.investors.com/politics/commentary/news-flash-obama-was-an-historically-unpopular-president/
Yes, but that's because GWB -- even if you loathed his politics and policies -- was someone that people would want to have a beer with whereas Obama was someone that you SAID that you want to have a beer with so that you would not be called a racist. Or in other words the true numbers rather than the fake leftist numbers have Barack Obama near the bottom where he belongs.
I think with Obama you are seeing something that the media never really would report. They liked to pin the dislike of him on racism so they never really spoke that a lot of people on the left didn't approve of him because he was a giant disappointment in his unwillingness to actually stand up for anything. He was a spineless leader who refused to get his hands dirty. Basically, a feckless show pony.
I agree; with his flyweight political background before becoming president Barack was essentially all image and no real substance as president.
On the contrary, Obama went out with very high ratings and he will be missed, particularly given the buffoon who replaced him. If it hasn't become clear by now, it will by March 1, the man-child Trump has no business occupying the oval office. http://www.cnn.com/2017/01/18/politics/obama-approval-rating-cnn-orc-poll/
LOL, I understand full well the man-child was duly elected. The very, very few who put him over the top in PA, WI & MI will have a very, very bad case of buyers' remorse. Trump is a perpetual train wreck, it would be fun if it didn't cost so very, very many their lives.......
It was a CNN/ORC poll The same CNN/ORC came up with fake polling that crooked Hillary would win in a landslide.
Is that a fair measurement? Average? Through highs and lows? Also consider what went into otehr averages. Bush had an approval rating of what, 80% following 9/11, boosting his average way up. Jimmy Carter was president during incredibly poor economic and diplomatic times. Was his the fault of the economy not always related to his actions? I am not sure that the assessment your article provides is an accurate portrayal of accomplishment and the like.
I actually agree. A President gets a lot of credit for things that he didn't do and blame for things he had no way to prevent. With that in mind, why bother tracking approval numbers at all?
If 47.9% is dismal, what do you call the current idiot in chief's numbers? He's only been there a few days. Even idiot Bush had a ~57% approval on his first few days. Oh wait, it's a liberal media fake news thing right? Alternate facts? Whereas your poll about Obama is nothing but facts. Welcome to the era of stupid.
Well he did admit to using drugs and being an activist and to the liberals those two and never having a real job makes him a Idol!
You realize the numbers mentioned were over the whole term of the President's time in office? So now you want to quote individual months? Look up the term "non-sequitur".
Look up the approval numbers from the first days in office for a valid comparison to your dummy in chief. That's what I was talking about. Sorry that flew over your head. I'll highlight again for you. Even idiot Bush had a ~57% approval on his first few days. Wait, I know any number that isn't favorable to the reality TV star is fake news. What a joke.
donald's approval ratings are even worse than that now, after less than two weeks in office. Obama left with a 60% approval rating. Of modern presidents, only Reagan and Clinton were higher.
Barry was lower than Nixon over his term in office. 11 days in office is not quite enough time to judge. Can you wait a couple of months?
So I mention approval rating over an entire term of office where Obama is lower than Nixon and you want to talk about Trumps first two weeks. All righty then. Perhaps you can also compare a rifle to a pair of pants and show how the pants are better.
Personally I would have liked to have lit up a fat joint with George just like the old days at Yale. Sit on the pond at his ranch, have a fish, talk Presidential.
