Trump is the first president to act with authority and courage since Kennedy. Reagan, yes, to some extent, but that’s it. Trump shied away from no one’s questions and took many. Did Obama ever do anything remotely similar? He held almost no press conferences and spoke in political double-speak or prevaricated.

Trump is doing what he said he would do even though the media (worst of all) and the democrats and academia and Hollywood and corporations are doing EVERYTHING they possibly can to destroy him! The could not care less about the good of this nation. They could not care less about our economy or our nation’s security. They are egotistical fools who are anti-American and anti-God. It does not take a highly intelligent observer to see what is going on. <Rule 2> Trump is doing all he can for the people of this nation and all the opposition is doing is trying to destroy both Trump and the common good. <Rule 2>

The conference begins on this video at the 1 hour and 28 minute mark.

While it was great fun to watch, from my POV, he needs to come up with better quips.

He came off poorly again from my POV, with his sparring. A bit of wit added, would endear him more in this respect, in the eyes of the general electorate.

Absolute bullpucky to your entire OP----
trump degraded the media, the judges,Senators-he lied, lied & then lied again-He did himself & our country no favors today-he was a disgrace---
Then he told one truth (kinda) & that was ,"No, he didn't direct Flynn to call the Ambassador to Russia, but if Flynn would have asked, he would have said ,yes"------I don't believe a word that came out of his mouth----

The thought process displayed in your post is the biggest danger to the U.S. today. You say it doesn't take a highly intelligent observer to see what is going on yet you also say that the intelligent section of our country is doing EVERYTHING they possibly can to destroy him.....goes to show what side your on.
The bottom line is.....you have no idea what you're talking about. You THINK you do, and that makes it very sad. Don't feel bad, there are a lot just.....like......you.

Yep.

The media and progressives are fully exposed. I have talks with people now that, knowing I'm a Trump supporter, are now coming to me and asking me questions. Many of them were previously apolitical and/or classical liberals.

Before they were pretty skeptical, now.....they're starting to see whats going on and it's a beautiful thing.

We have never seen a president like Trump in our life time. No more slick, stiff, polished, canned, PC, answers to the reporters. Trump communicates like a juvenile in both his speak and mannerisms, a juvenile who only knows how to tell the truth and says what's on his mind, even if it insults you. How refreshing to hear such common sense from the president. Trump was happy as a pig in a mud puddle, loving the sparing with the press and winning. Now we can get back on track and make America great again. That was the best news conference I have seen in a long long time. In fact I just today started buying more stocks.

It is illogical by my measure of logic for Trump to take issue with fake news while his administration has made some easily falsifiable claims. While I agree that there is much bias in the media, Trump is handing the media the ammo that they use against him. If he quit making baseless claims and refuted criticism with objective facts backed with source citation then the media would have far less to criticize him on. Sadly what the president does all too often is make baseless claims, focus too much on his image as opposed to policy that effects us all, and when he does speak on policy he is vague.

Had they recently sustained some sort of head trauma?

That story sounds entirely unlikely in the realm of Trump's plummeting popularity and simmering incompetence.

This is what happens when "snowflakism" becomes public policy.

And you will never have the guts or the mind power to admit you are wrong. There are millions like you making the task of doing what is best for this nation all that much more difficult. You need some introspection, imo.

- - - Updated - - -

My answer to that is "who cares?" Are you interested in finding fault with Trump or finding a solution to our nation's ills?

I could not care less if he is rough around the edges and boorish at times. THAT is not what matters. He has courage and good ideas. Did it bother you that Barack had neither?

Let me put it this way for you. There are highly intellectual people through history who are atheists. There are highly intellectual people through history, including some brilliant scientists like Newton and Pascal, who are devout Christians. So, yes, intellectualism does not guarantee wisdom, by no means.

But what I am saying to you is simple: Anybody with half a brain can see that the mainstream media is hell bent on an agenda. They are very secular humanist and left. They are out to destroy Trump. That is their goal because they really do not care about the economy or our national security. Their agenda is more important than the common good. But you cannot see that can you? Or is it really --- your ego will not allow you to admit that!

While I didn't vote for him, I grabbed me some Johnson, he came off looking like Obummer did, when he stated he "Inherited" this or that.

I have stated that I'll give the guy a chance, & I mean that. As a fiscally conservative Libertarian, I'm happier he won, than Hillary.

From the "Optics" POV, if he could come off a bit more relaxed, & a bit comical with a rapier wit when lambasting the press, or others for that matter, I'm positive the point will be taken better by people in general.

FYI, I didn't vote for Obummer either. Thanks for the assumption though... Just because I made a constructive statement of my opinion. Also, Obummer DID have a way with words... Outside of the whole "Ahhhh.... Ummmm" thing.

Wow, we need a bully and a guy who brags about the number of women he grabbed? And a guy who dragged his wife by the hair before raping her? What a guy. I first came across him when he built a dune in front of a seniors Scottish house so she couldn't see the North Sea. Why? She wouldn't sell. The lowest of the low and a small man. Apparently in every sense of the word.
And Obama? Don't you remember we were losing 750000 jobs/month and ATMs were threatening to close?
Good luck with your Mussolini. Guess you are an authoritative follower. Got your armband and right arm raised?

The press sucks because he says so.

He inheireted a huge mess.

He won the electoral college so huge.

Whether what you say is true or not is of a minor importance. Do not kid yourself. If Trump said nothing about the abusive, lying, spinning, covering-up left wing mainstream media --- they would still be engaged in full attack against him every day! And continue to lie and spin an cover up and demagoguery. That is a fact!

But more importantly, Trump is about to doing what is best for this nation in very profound measures. And the left and the media do not care, that is how dishonest and unamerican they are!

You are totally out of focus. You are so hyped up to make Trump look bad because of his boorish ways, yet, you do not care that he is embarking on doing courageous things to help this nation and save this nation. And the left is doing all they can to make this nation worse. Think on that.

I quite enjoyed the press conference today. Glad to see Trump taking on a better temperament.I was getting tired of seeing him bullied by the mass media and now that he's come out swinging I couldn't be happier. It's time for change in this nation and the mass media shouldn't have the power to hold us back. I thought it was a very engaging press conference. Thought we learned quite a bit from it. I hope to see him continue like this.

And there are some people not worth wasting time on trying to convince them of their folly and their own egos as the problem. You seem to be one.

You dare to defend Obama as someone who we could trust and tried to do good for this nation? You can stop right there. We will never agree on anything.

Sure, keep telling yourself that in the progressive echo chamber.

That's how he got elected in the first place.

At least your subconscious knew what it was doing when you voted.

I have a lot of criticisms of Trump myself. But whatever he loses in being dignified and polite he gains in courage and conviction. There will never be a president who has it all, so let's not get too worked up about decorum and focus on results.

Which means no one can say they voted for neither one and think that makes them the better for it. That's protecting one's ego and nothing more.

Personally, I'm not concerned at all. Just pointing out what the masses of people being force fed crap news in this country, would likely take closer to heart.

As for voting for neither, I don't think I come off "better" for it... I care not about my ego, especially where politics is concerned.
