Republican Mac Warner has been West Virginia's secretary of state for only 45 days, and already he has suppressed the votes of up to 36,635 dead people -- in an act of zombiephobia that defies the logic and reason.
Where in the state constitution does it say that your right to vote Democratic ends when you die?
Doesn't the ADA cover the "living challenged"?
    Well, it should.
    [**Snip**]
What next? Voter photo ID to stop you from voting 11 times? If this keeps up, Democrats may never be able to steal another election in the Mountain State.

This could be the civil rights issue of our time. Why should people lose their civil rights just because they die? Dead people are some of the most vulnerable people we have, and this sort of abuse is unthinkable. Can we expect them to protest and riot? The Progressive Democratic Party strongly supports the Civil Rights of Necro-Americans. Progressive Democrat representatives of these dead should take this issue to court and get them re-instated ... as voters anyway.
This isn't fair! The dead are an important Democratic Party constituency.

Dead People have rights, too! It's time to stop the discrimination, hatred, & bigotry toward dead people. They can't help it! They should be given understanding & compassion, instead of hate & oppression! Organize now! Join in with the movement to stop the unjust oppression of people just because they no longer breathe. Why should that matter? it is their feelings that are important, not the blood flowing (or not) in their veins.

And how do we know that these "dead people" would have voted Democrat?
And. . .it seems that they were not all "dead people," but some had just moved, and other were registered in two areas. . .Just like Stephanie Trump and a few others in Trump's family

    So. . .what's your beef?

"Those status updates include voters who: (1) have moved from their initial registered address; (2) have died; or (3) have duplicate registration records on file. "

Just an artifact of an outdated system that didn't communicate changes in status across voting district lines.

Just one more reason to have a federal photo-ID card to vote in federal elections.

This is amusing but America just dodged going over the same cliff as Germany, France and Sweden did with immigration. The cynical left conspired to inundate America with illegal Democrat voters to assure a permanent Democrat majority. Had they succeeded America would have ceased to exist. We now have the opportunity to protect the sanctity of our birthright. The first order of business is making the voter ID the law of the land for all elections. Next make citizenship a condition of voting in any election. Last we need to establish a mechanism for voting that is the same in all fifty states that is appropriately protected against rigging.

There is no meaningful voter fraud.

My parents are deceased, as are my wife's. Nobody removed them from the voter roles. So what? There is no meaningful voter fraud. Voting is managed well enough, and has always been managed well enough, to prevent it. And most of the occasional intentional fraud that has been committed was committed by republicans.

Well it seems to be a step forward on your part. Prior to this the statement was 'There is no voter fraud".

Why, is there a federal database of who voted? Are you suggesting that the feds take over the voting process?

Chuck Shumer and Claire McCaskill should be all over this issue. Dead Democrats still have to have their wishes known.

So much nonsense. So people die and the books don't get updated.

    How many dead people voted?

If we could keep Trump's family and staff from registering in two States it would be a start.

Good work today. Five threads and no evidence or logic behind any of them.

How many used dead people's names to vote? This country has a long and colorful history of voter fraud going back t the very early days. How the hell do You thing Tammany hall dominated New York for close to three decades? How did the Pendergast boys manage the same thing in KC for more than a decade? As long as there have been Machine politics there has been voter fraud. Hell my wife's mom tells of being offered 5 bucks to vote in an election in KC back in the Depression she was 15 at the time told them so and the response was it don't matter we'll give you a name to use. Wanna guess where they got it?

Perhaps not on a national level, but one example I know of in Virginia where over 1,000 illegals were found to have voted when one election was decided by fewer than 300 votes.

You cannot possibly know the true extent of voter fraud unless you catch all of the examples.

And in most locales we aren't even trying. There have been at least two surveys done and both suggested that upwards of 1 million illegal aliens voted in 2008. One suspects that the number is more than a bit understated since that is an illegal activity, further we know that nearly a million people are registered to vote in more than one state.

I'm simply suggesting that the federal government issue voter ID cards, instead of the States.
