Carbon Dioxide is well studied. Think of the Submarine. We read some diobolical claims made about levels as low as 400 ppm. Supposedly it will get far too hot on Earth and our lives will be just a misery. So how well does man live in extremely high levels of Carbon Dioxide? Living well with levels over 10,000 ppm happens all the time in Submarines. We have a navy study to show that will demonstrate that. https://www.nap.edu/read/11170/chapter/5#47 Suppose you were told that if you do not believe in Jesus being GOD, you go to hell? Very silly, isn't it? So silly you would laugh for a long time. So why believe you will be harmed by levels of 400 ppm when the navy exists at 10,000 ppm? Seems somebody has lied to you. Then add in the professors such as Professor Harper of Princeton that wants higher levels of CO2 than 1000 ppm. Says it would do great things for plants. Since we know that 10,000 ppm won't hurt you, crank it up a lot more and you get excellent plant life. Green houses have over 3,000 ppm so we know it works well. Now on with the show. notice this is a scientific site. https://www.nap.edu/read/11170/chapter/5#48 http://fifthseasongardening.com/regulating-carbon-dioxide
WOW! This shows that you don't have a clue what you're talking about. It has nothing to do with our ability to breathe! LOL! It shows that you don't know the first thing about climate change - you are completely clueless. You're not a scientist. Why do you pretend that you are?
If these people are going to start satirising themselves like this then there will be little point in being here!
The point about CO2 is its effect on climate. This is well documented. We have very good correlation for past temperature increases with increase in CO2. Warming was the greatest direct cause of the end-Permian extinction event. Obscure and obtuse attempts to deny the reality of human-caused climate change contribute to the problem. Apathy means inaction.
But no one is serious about doing anything to reduce co2 levels. It seems as if carbon taxes is the only thing they offer up, which will be a huge flow of money, with beaks being dipped into it, and it ends up in the hands of MNCs, banks. Yet at least one scientist, a physicist, has said it could be lowered with land management, worldwide, and stopping the huge deforestation of rain forests. Yet n one offers this up? Why? Well, not near the money to be made by certain people if we just add exponentially to the flora. Which would pull co2 out. One would think it is easy to plant trees and plants who love co2. So, it must not be such a huge problem, for if it were, we would be doing something other than what has been turned down..carbon taxes. So, why is it not being addressed in other ways? Riddle me that. I am getting a whiff of something that stinks. I observe incoherence. Something is not quite right here, and it does not take a rocket scientist to pick up on it. But it does require a healthy brain.
I suggest putting a plastic bag over your head to test the hypothesis...you will very soon have enough CO2 for this experiment. Trust me...You'll be fine.
It's no laughing matter - that's for sure. Florida country radio morning-show hosts Val St. John and Scott Fish are currently serving indefinite suspensions and possibly worse ... They told their listeners that "dihydrogen monoxide" was coming out of the taps throughout the Fort Myers area. . The popular deejays are mainly in all this trouble (potentially of a felony level) ... ...they were pulled off the air around 8:30 a.m. — about three and half hours into their Val and Scott in the Morning show on WWGR/Gator Country 101.9 FM, which airs across a big region of Southwest Florida. That's what happens when some brave radio personalities try to inform their listeners of the Dangers! They get yanked off the air and suspended!
I agree completely with this remedy. We should be planting trees everywhere and we should be forcing nations like Brasil, Malaysia, Indonesia and yes, America to stop cutting down entire forests. Trees will store carbon. Plant a tree near you.
Thank you for helping make the case that high levels of carbon dioxide (compared to what you see daily in the air) do not ruin your life. Submarines do quite well with levels ten times higher and are climate controlled.
For the same reason you pretend you are. Factually you show no talent for science given you missed the entire point of the data you were given as to existing in high levels of carbon dioxide.
The Earth is not a climate controlled environment. It doesn't have nuclear powered air conditioning like a submarine does.
Anyone making this argument doesn't have the slightest clue regarding the climate change issue to begin with.
How am I reinforcing anything? I'm point out how your logic is bullshit. You can't compare a submarine (that has a climate control system and no biosphere) with the Earth (that has no climate control system and a biosphere).
