There is a much bigger picture here than some political scrimmage. Do you see it yet?

 

Why would you need proof. He just has to apply your own means test in regards to what Greenwald called "crazy thinking". Which is what he is doing, except there is a possibility of him getting hard evidence one day, while the trump/putin tin foil hat theory never was credible to begin with. But what Nunes is talking about is very credible. For we have seen similar things before, like with Nixon.

For me, it requires evidence, and at least if such evidence does exist, we have the ability to look for it. So far in looking for evidence for the trump/putin conspiracy theory is lacking in evidence and big on conjecture. But we know criminals leaked intel, no conjecture here. And since it was intended to take down trump, it is reasonable to think we are looking at democrat criminals here. And we know someone unmasked trump's transition team with that being passed around, perhaps even to the oval office of Obama. If so, the evidence will be there for the looking.

But surely Obama insulated himself from such things. Deniable plausibility is used habitually in our times. The conspiracy theory now is that foreigners were spied on, with the hidden intent of getting info on the transition team of trump. What gives this theory some credibility is the fact some on his team perhaps himself, were unmasked and passed around, giving criminals the means of providing this in leaks, to hurt trump. So it was a way to legally get a fisa warrant, which then could be used as a net to catch incidental conversations. We have never had such potential evidence when it comes to the trump/putin conspiracy theory, nor of collusion of say Manafort with Russia on the leaks which revealed how corrupt the democrats were in trying to win the democratic primary for Hillary. It isn't like Russia made up anything, if they are the source, they only provided the truth using the words of the democrats. So the democrats and Hillary hung themselves. Yet till this day we have never been given any evidence Russia was the source for wilkileaks. Perhaps because it does not exist.

 

This thread is enlightening. We have serious claims from the House Intelligence Chair that the Obama administration spied on the opposition party candidate and what are theleftists arguing? He didnt follow house protocol.

But Nunes will get to the bottom of it, and even if the info distributed with trump's transition team being unmasked, was NECCESSARY, which most have said is rare, given it was incidental, Nunes could not see it with the available reports brought to him.

Your contrived defense is very weak, and looks like desperation. Given your assumption, stated as fact. But we will find out, I think. Then we will see if once again the Hillary voters and dems were wrong, and were just so desperate as to make up much more stuff than trump is capable of doing. Trump was right. He was being spied on, and this had nothing to do with Russia. Is it mere coincidence they also got info on what was going on in the transition planning? ha ha. Incidentally of course.

 

We learned to be patient with these losers during a long year of Hillary landslide talk.

 

I thought he did deny it? Along with the press sec. But if so, why was intel not forthcoming, since this intel had not been given to the intel committee, until someone came forth with it? That is even more troubling or should be. MSM and dems here have said trump could find out if he wanted to, given his position, intimating since there was nothing to see, explains why trump has not done so. But now, if he did do it, got the intel showing he was spied on and sent it to Nunes.....looks to me like damn if he does, damn if he doesn't. ha ha ha.

That Time Magazine link made me laugh out loud. Trump spilled the beans while Nunes was still cooking them.

As far as I have seen (and what I just Googled,) I haven't seen anything published where Nunes actually denied he got the information from the White House. He did deflect every time he was asked though. Spicer asked a question, but also deflected and didn't answer directly.

With this stunt, they have tainted the process. The only way forward is an independent investigation and the American people will demand one, I do believe.

 

So much for draining the swamp. I think its growing exponentially.

 

A long ways off. But the tide will swing back to the D's.

I've demanded one. Just so we can confirm or deny Russian Conspiracy, and if we can deny it(like I think), I believe several apologies to our attorney general are long in order, and apologies to the 45th President. And then hopefully positive behavior from that point forward.

I've seen for the last 2 decades, the ebb and flow of each party getting control, put in their agenda and complete opposition from the other party, then they gain control, wave some fingers, point a few, and then not undo the previous party's passed agendas.
The patriot act did not get overturned.
The reinstallment of glass-stegal or similar did not get reinstated, wait for the next crash soon.
ACA/Obamacare, will not get repealed. Count on it.

All this so called domestic spying/wiretapping is a direct result of the much hailed republican liberty grabbing, freedom stifling, security enriched Patriot Act.

I hoped Obama would overturn it. NOPE. Embraced it.
