She admitted to the leaks, and did everything she could to get the spy data out of the white house and to congress before Trump took office, because she was afraid Trump would find out.....

I am not a member of the FBI, so I'm not going to speculate why they are investigating beyond that they seem to think this might have taken place.

 

That's not what she said at all. She said she was worried they would destroy or hide the evidence.

Oh so Trump WAS placed under surveillance by the WH and unmasked by Intelligence Agencies.

Please tell us what they've found so far, who authorized the surveillance, and what the basis for suspicion was to initiate the "investigation".

 

Oh and please give us a list of what you consider "circumstantial evidence". What facts have been uncovered?

So let's just assume for a second that the Obama administration (who came out himself and said Russia couldn't interfere with the election) put him under surveillance for "collusion to influence the election".

How would candidate Trump pulled that off?

We've already established that the voting system itself has not been tampered with.

So that leaves the DNC server and Democrat's dirty laundry on that server.

How did Trump help the Russians gain access to the DNC server again? Perhaps you could explain that.

Yea, I am really confused by the reporting on this interview. I did not hear her say anything about spying on Donald Trump.

The closest that I heard her say was that she, and others, were worried that if Trump found out how they had learned about the communications between Trump and the Russian officials, that Trump would compromise those methods and the intelligence itself.

There is zero reason to believe that quote is not about the regular monitoring of Russian officials with whom Trump and his associates had direct conversations.

The only question remaining is whether there is any evidence that Trump and his associates colluded with the Russians and to that end, there are some Obama officials who have said they have not seen any evidence of such.

As to the Wikileaks statement, we learned from James Comey on Monday that the FBI conclusion was that Russia provided some of their hacked information to Wikileaks through an intermediary.

The intelligence community did not say that Russians only tried, but got no where. I dare you to find me that quote.

There are multiple ways of influencing an election. Trump only won by about 70,000 votes across three states. If a very small percentage of Americans were convinced to stay home or change their vote because of the widespread use of fake stories, misinformation, or selective release of private communications from only one party, then Russia absolutely influenced the election even though they did not change a voting machine.

This reads like a desperate attempt at changing the story.

She says nothing about surveillance by anyone related to Obama or anything like it.
