...so? That has nothing to do with abortion since no child is involved in abortion . I see you still can't address facts, answer questions or OR STAY ON TOPIC: From YOUR post #11 : """Women went for thousands of years with no abortions.""" WHY did you say that? IF you knew all that, """how women administered self medication and horrible things done to themselves"""... why aren't you pro-Choice ? Do you enjoy the thought of what happened to women before abortion was legal? Topic: Do you think it's OK for men to poke holes in their condoms and not tell the woman they're having sex with ??
I have been in this pig pen with you in the past. I wanted this time to read polite words. As to my comments that women went thousands of years with no abortions, to try to get one often meant death. Do i enjoy your set up piece on what happened to them earlier? Women, since they by nature bear children, and had sex over the eons, millions of women endured, died or bore the child. What I think has no bearing on those past women.
In a legal sense, it's more the opposite. Get a one night stand pregnant and you'll be paying her for the next 18 years.
Which makes your statement, """"""Women went for thousands of years with no abortions.""" untrue.... women had abortions and many died , so WHY don't you like the fact that with legal, safe abortions women don't die ???? ???No idea what that means.... Nor on present women
Ya, in a legal sense it makes no sense for a man to put himself in that position but not all men are the same...some have very weird ignorant ideas...
I will "splay my legs" when, where and with whom I choose. If I get pregnant, I will make the choice *I* feel is best.
I am a woman and I sort of understand. This often about control. Th y want what they want on thier terms
What some of you here fail to understand is that a great number of abortions are performed on married women impregnated by their husbands who have either had birth control failure or have made a decision not to have (or have more) children at this time. Asking a married woman to "keep her legs closed" is asinine.
In an ideal world the male partner would take precautions to prevent pregnancy as well but it is not an ideal world and far too many think it is solely down to the woman to prevent pregnancy but are more than happy to prevent her from aborting
While I like your posts...er, this one, while making a good point, misses the fact that NO woman has to "keep her legs closed" . ...insisting that women not have sex so they won't have abortions is probably the most ignorant thing , among many, that Anti-Choicers proscribe....
Maybe I misunderstood the issue, but I assumed that "stealthing" was about one night stands. I can see how control can come up in a relationship, but not with a women you don't plan to see again. Since you're a woman, maybe you know what it's called when women lie about birth control or poke holes in condoms? Is that also stealthing, and is it also about control?
I have not heard of this; I only know of the common practice used by women in an attempt to secure a man, or at least a stream of income. Parents should always warn their sons about this trick, or the "I want to feel you" trick! But to answer your question, there is no need to "allow" anything.
On a side note, I like these new terms like "Stealthing" Best defense against stealthing is The Houdini!
The subject is not what women do. There's plenty of misogynistic bashing in other threads and forums for those so inclined. A one night stand is no different than a long term relationship if a man wants to "mark his territory"..
No, and I didn't say it was : """The subject is not what women do. There's plenty of misogynistic bashing in other threads and forums for those so inclined. A one night stand is no different than a long term relationship if a man wants to "mark his territory"..""""""
Me too ! The reason I do not have a problem with abortion in the early stages is because there is no proof that a child exists in the early stages of pregnancy.
Throughout the ages there were all kinds of things that folks tried to prevent pregnancy. In modern times we have gotten much better. If an accident does happen - abortion is a relatively safe way to terminate a pregnancy.
The product of a prudish past coupled with a desire to force prudish beliefs on others through physical violence (law).
