When other mammals besides humans search for a mate, they look at strength and beauty. Humans complicate the issue with such foolishness as riches, religion, etc.
Great! And, the new president of France is married to a woman 25 years older than is he. I guess dogs see your leg as strong and beautiful, right?
lol! Humans include all sorts of factors in their calculation of what is attractive. Think about the case of religion. Do humans examine the various world religions to determine their own beliefs - a decision that could affect their eternity? Obviously, they allow decidedly secular and temporal concerns to enter, in fact to dominate - factors such as family, politics, those they marry, friends, what's available locally, etc.
And the divorce rate in the USA hovers around 45%. Pure insanity. 2015: 3.1% / 6.9% https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/data/dvs/national_marriage_divorce_rates_00-15.pdf
The other part to it, is that despite lions and tigers having slightly overlapping geographic ranges, lions and tigers don't produce ligers or tigons in the wild. (Ligers are the offspring of a male lion and a female tiger, tigons are the offspring of a male tiger and a female lion.)
There are many different species of human. Neanderthals, Homo erectus, neanderthals, Denisova homminins, Homo floreninsis, etc. etc. etc. So it shouldn't surprise anybody that different species of human exist today.
If you think there is more than one species of human alive today then you need to find two separate human populations that can not interbreed successfully.
If whites, blacks and Asians were truly different species, we would never or rarely ever have sex by choice and our offspring would be sterile. Racists confuse very limited phenotypical difference with species difference.
When a male "A" and a female "B" can mate and produce a fertile offspring they are the same species. Any differences beyond that have to do with populations, not species. Witness the Denisova genome is a "mixture of genomes. A hybrid. It is estimated populations separated for 1 million years do become separate species. PeopleKind had "continuity through continuous hybridization" and the best for the purpose was naturally selected for propagation. Species of people is based on little more than phrenology. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phrenology If those skulls with all their individual variation found in a cave in Dmanisi, Georgia were found in different locations, how many "species" do you suppose they would represent. http://www.sci-news.com/othersciences/anthropology/science-dmanisi-human-skull-georgia-01474.html An analysis of a complete 1.8-million-year-old hominid skull found at the archaeological site of Dmanisi in Georgia suggests the earliest Homo species – Homo habilis, Homo rudolfensis and so forth – actually belonged to the same species. Unlike other Homo fossils, Skull 5 combines a small braincase with a long face and large teeth. It was discovered alongside the remains of four other early human ancestors, a variety of animal fossils and some stone tools – all of them associated with the same location and time period – which make the find truly unique. More http://dmanisi.ge/page?id=12&lang=en The smallest brain case 546 cc, the largest 775 cc. Similar to modern physics rejecting "ether", it is time most human species be rejected for the capability to interbreed, not phrenology. When we get a H. erectus genome, I expect that genome now identified as some archaic human will be H. erectus. Some such genome exists in Tibetans attributed to their high altitude tolerance and Denisovans.
