I'm tempted to think the fat lady will start singing after the testimony we're going to hear this coming Monday.
Let me guess, Trump's getting impeached in a couple weeks? Hillary by a landslide? Democrats are taking Congress? Trump has no chance to win the election? Obama hope and change? Yea the alt left predictions are 100% off. It's not their fault. Extremists don't realize they are extremists.
That's o.k. Enjoy it while you've got it. Things will start to swing with the mid-term elections and then you'll be back in your proper place.
Well, for sure he can be replaced on November 7th, 2020, when his term ends. As for now, there is nothing criminal in his actions. But I do think that those who see and fear criminality in all that he does, are unstable and extremely premature. Come on, get a grip. Do yourselves a favor and stop watching the msm who are harrowing up your souls with baseless accusations, suggestions and innuendos, 24/7, regarding the President. Has the left ever given a moments thought to the proposition that the problem could be themselves, supposing a roadmap, thought process, judgment and value system that everyone is supposed to follow, just because it's the path which liberals have chosen? Has it ever occurred to liberals that it is they who've wandered too far?
How many times must pathological trump haters be educated ? Any president can only b impeached for high crimes and misdemeanors. You have yet to name one
Willing to beat your membership against mine over whether Trump is still president in 2018 unless he dies? No wait, forget it.
Personally, I hope that Trump is not impeached or removed from office. It would be better if he were allowed to continue bumbling through his term and be ridiculed for another 3 years before either quitting or being destroyed in the 2020 elections. I would also be more concerned with a religious whack job like Pence in the Oval Office than a circus act like Trump. The comedy produced on late night TV and HBO due to Trump are good for morale here in America. It is also a lot of fun watching the rest of the GOP leadership running around like a bunch of monkeys trying to **** a football wondering whether to suck up to their crazy President or finally throw him under the bus. Comedy gold is here for at least another 3 years!!!
What does "because of" mean? You mean to obstruct justice? Sure, but that isn't provable at present and it seems unlikely. If Trump did this to obstruct, why would he even mention Russia in the interview? If he were guilty, he'd just fire him and say "I think we can get a better Director" or "He arrogated power to himself when he declared that no reasonable prosecutor could make a case against Hillary (it's a prosecutor's job to make that call.)
Anyway the answer is in the Constitution. "Needless" wars isn't a crime and is a matter of opinion anyway.
If he does something unconstitutional, that would necessitate impeachment. Without proof, however, you can't impeach the president. Innocent until proven guilty. But.....evidence may roll in soon enough to get him out of office.
actually, he can be impeached for any behavior deemed by Congress to be unacceptable for a President. be it criminal activity or simply inappropriate.
Were there such a suspicion, a charge would be brought. Has such a charge been brought? Has there been an investigation, a trial and finding of guilt?
Yea I mean, I suppose because Section II Article 4 is vague about "misdemeanors" (it just says "The President, Vice President and all civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors.") But our Congress is not going to impeach Trump for his misdemeanors, they've made that clear. You'd have better luck with treason and bribery.
Impeachment is basically a 2 fold process. First the impeachment then the removal from office. Remember Clinton was impeached but not removed from office. It is not a simple process like telling him "you're fired".
Trump can now be impeached. Comey says that Trump urged him to end the investigation into Flynn, two days after Flynn was fired. Flynn refused. Trump then fired him. That is Obstruction of Justice, which is a felony. https://www.nytimes.com/2017/05/16/...-russia-investigation.html?smid=tw-share&_r=0
